Henson dunked on him with 1.5 secs left with the game in the bag. Should've just ran the clock out. Prick move.

Kidd-Gilchrist is really good at throwing lobs. Man, what a pass to T. Jones.

Wow, back-to-back lob finish by Anthony Davis. That was a difficult catch by Davis.

Anthony Davis plays with great awareness on both sides of the ball.

Tier 4: Good starters:
8. John Henson
9. Perry Jones III
10. Harrison Barnes

Might be more in the last group but I'm not ranking past 10

How could you forget Michael Kidd-Gilchrist he seems to be a borderline all-star talent definitely worthy of a top 10 pick no doubt!

Just changed some of my thoughts about Barnes... He made some good plays down the stretch today, after his bad shooting in the first half, but really he just looks like a good college player at this point, hes got some size but he doesn't show me any outstanding offensive skills, hes pretty good all around but is he an all star? Hes hasn't proven to me yet that he can be a top 2 guy on a winning team in the NBA. Hes not a great rebounder or passer either, not an outstanding defender or athlete really, looks like he might be Luol deng with less defense and more handle. Not bad, but guys like Lamb, Beal, MKG, PJ3, Qmiller , all might not be there yet but these are all wings with far more potential at this point, Maybe not better players in college but more potential to be big in the NBA. Infact MKG is a far more impactful, valuable player in his first year in college than barnes in his second....

Davis looks his best today. 18 points on 7/7, 6 Rebs, 5 blocks. In the first half.

Every time I watch UK Doron Lamb really impresses me. If players come out this year, this draft is super deep its amazing. Not much Superstars, but many many star potential.

recap for me bro!

- Kidd-Gilchrist showed the excellent on-ball defense getting a blocked shot on his man when he was trying to drive at him. Showed off his vision a bit throwing up a backdoor lob pass to Terrence Jones and another to Anthony Davis off of a dribble-drive action. MKG really does a great job finding his teammates and throwing pin-point lob passes.

- Anthony Davis had like 6 dunks this game. Just a dunk clinic for him lol. There was this one catch where he hung in the air for some time before Darius Miller threw up the ball. Just thought it was interesting that Anthony Davis had the hang time to make such an incredible, yet difficult catch. Was blocking shots left and right as usual. His ability to recover after the first jump is phenomenal. Very quick on his feet.

- During the game, the commentators talked about how the area of the whole court is 4,700 square feet, 2,300 square feet in the half-court setting and Anthony Davis covers about 270 square feet in the half-court setting (the painted area) with his ability to block shots and rebound like a mad man, so he takes up a whole lot of space as you can see. They had a list of schools that Anthony Davis himself has more blocks than a few teams like Duke and Michigan State.

I disagree with you on those bold part. He definitely has a variety of offensive repertoire to his game and more than what other prospects than shown, u can argue those are freshmen that didn't expand their game yet but he's far more advanced offensively than PJ3 and perhaps equal or more to Lamb.

He can be a good rebounder if only he shows his aggressiveness. Alot of games this year and last year he can go on and off in rebounding, when he wants to and when he's assertive he would go hard on the glass. Last year he's more assertive but this year he does slack off in the reb. But overall, he has the body and size to grab rebound. This game is an example too, he's got 4 offensive reb this game. Its hard for him to get defensive board since Z and Henson always hogged the paint on both end. But I absolutely can't see why he's not a great rebounder, he boxers out well, has long arms and strength too.

He's a pretty good defender to me, being outstanding would be someone like a MKG caliber type of D but he shows really good fundamental (staying low, good footwork, arms spread out and wide, and shows decent weakside defensive awareness).

All other players have potential, its still potential, so its uncertain whether they live up to it, but so far Barnes has most of the advanced offensive skillset coming into the NBA, his handle is the only issue of concern (offensively) but otherwise he's pretty advanced.

ah icic, that is a dick move. Sometimes Henson has lack of maturity issue and also questionable bbiq. Especially that time he didn't pass to Barnes when he's open, instead he shot it but ended up getting blocked by Davis. That sequence really smh, also Coach William's at fault, he didn't call a timeout to make the final play :-?

Interesting point on the coverage zone about AD, he's definitely what you call a LEGIT rim/paint protector. Thx for the recap bro, so I see MKG has an off game offensively but he contributed in other areas as always, and Davis, of cos, nothing much to say other than being spectacular.

Ok Fred honestly now your trolling Steely....despite the fact that he has been a bit of a nuisance with his posts he has refrained from attacking individuals the way you have done with him.

WE GET IT!!!! You don't like this poster now lay off... he's entitled to speak his mind on draft prospects (no matter how apathetic they appear)
