Hes hasn't proven to me yet that he can be a top 2 guy on a winning team in the NBA. Hes not a great rebounder or passer either, not an outstanding defender or athlete really, looks like he might be Luol deng with less defense and more handle. Not bad, but guys like Lamb, Beal, MKG, PJ3, Qmiller , all might not be there yet but these are all wings with far more potential at this point, Maybe not better players in college but more potential to be big in the NBA. Infact MKG is a far more impactful, valuable player in his first year in college than barnes in his second....

I disagree with you on those bold part. He definitely has a variety of offensive repertoire to his game and more than what other prospects than shown, u can argue those are freshmen that didn't expand their game yet but he's far more advanced offensively than PJ3 and perhaps equal or more to Lamb.

Honestly I don't know that lamb has many different moves, I'd say HB has a more extensive repitore. Lamb is a bit more athletic though and that is probably the major difference other then playmaking ability.

Of course, he has great def/off awareness that PJ3 wishes to have.

Ok Fred honestly now your trolling Steely....despite the fact that he has been a bit of a nuisance with his posts he has refrained from attacking individuals the way you have done with him.

WE GET IT!!!! You don't like this poster now lay off... he's entitled to speak his mind on draft prospects (no matter how apathetic they appear

aw I don't mean to attack any poor individual, I like this poster tho (if i give anyone a vibe that I hate him, I don't :o ), he's pretty hilarious and I used to laugh at him but now I change my approach, I will laugh with him  but I find it comical that he's telling others to have critical eye for all prospects and if you don't, you lose credibility, isn't that FUN to laugh at? Sry, I mean, to laugh with?

I get that i guess, Lamb doesn't have the triple threat/hesitation/jabstep and even when he's not catch and shoot, he brings the ball up but tends to do too much crossover, he should do more in & out and hesitation move more often, but I say tho, he has an absolutely quick deadly crossover that makes me go :o . If he extends his repertoire adding those in & out/hesitation, then I can pretty much say he can blow by at will. So far I see him blow by occasionally but lately he's been more jump shooting happy, with his length and quickness he should be attacking to the lane more but he's too skinny and has limited strength to draw contact tho, that's why i've been down on him, cos I can't see him only avg 18 cos he should be avg 25 pts especially when he gets the green light. Having a chucker like Napier wouldn't help either tho, that guy is such a hog and makes clueless passes.

Who do you guys think has the most swag out of all those prospects we talk about. I don't like the swagger of PJIII and Harrison Barnes.

I agree, its one of the reason he's my number 1 on my list. I feel its important to have that swagger if you want to be a star in the NBA.

Tony Wroten Jr. having a solid game so far. 13 points on 5-9 shooting, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 turnover.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

No...

But I'm done talking about it. Obviosly this board is impressed with chucking wing players because you all don't see the true value of MKG, PJIII, and even a Sullinger. All these guys are true impact players and offer a skillset no other player can replicate.

So, three different players offer a skillset that no other player can replicate.

Take a moment to realize the stupidity of your statement.

MKG scored 7 points on 2 for 7 shooting and you want to draft him #1 overall.

Players with the highest ceiling for the 2012 Draft:

Perry jones III
MKG
Anthony Davis

I think these three are head and shoulders above anyone else in terms of NBA Impact Readiness. All three will effect the game to the point they'll be gameplanned against as rookies. One of three will be ROY.

Your welcome.

That would be you're welcome. And you're welcome for the correction.

That's really interesting, considering that you created a thread on the draft board some time ago where you stated that Davis was vastly overrated and anyone that liked him was a victim of the media hype machine.

What can you expect from him? He's just good at dodging questions, glorify his prospects, and accuses people of losing credibility. And now contradicting himself about Davis  These are things we consider fun to laugh with :P
