I think Cole would still play in the playoffs, unless he starts to suck since it's a big stage for a rookie like him.

But at the end of the game, Rio or Cole won't see the floor.

9 man rotation of Starters + UD, Battier, Miller, Cole sound about right.

I really don't like Joel starting nowadays. He has gone back to his old self. Even getting dunked on so much and is non-existent defensively... and a game isn't complete with a random Joel foul.

Lebron at the 1 is the reason he'll run out of gas come playoff time, what else do we c=want this guy to do, keep stats like Big Mac?

it's true that we ask a lot of him. that is very true.

Doesn't take a great coach to coach and/or depend on 1 or 2 players for everything, then you wonder why the other players can't do anything offensively when counted on.

Just hope it gets corrected

He should get some playing time regardless though, will we be penalized if we go 10 deep, I mean really?

Haha, ask Spo that

My biggest fear is LBJ getting 45 minutes a game......... that did not end well.

Could this be a/the reason he couldn't finish last year AND the last year he was in cleveland, he is perceived as being so good, until teams just wear him out?

Fro Ira

Starting to think big scoring totals in the first half from LeBron are not the best thing for the Heat. Too much all-or-nothing from one player.

You guys really like your numbers, none of the stats meant NOTHING last year, did it?

You know I honestly don't think I've seen anyone more angry after a win than you. :o

im ok with joel playing 15 minutes a game in the playoffs. no more than 15 tho. and we don't need to go to 10 guys unless that 10th is eddy curry. right now, he can't play real minutes for miami. if kaman or joel przybilla come, i'd be ok with dropping joel out of the rotation altogether.

The thing about LeBron, is that he's so good he is basically consistent, he rarely has bad games, and if he gets injured people would think he's faking it or something. Like he's a machine. He's human. Even Terry said something about wearing down LeBron.

He is just asked to do so much. He came to the Heat so he wouldn't have to have such a heavy burden. But he comes in playing 45 minutes a game in the playoffs and all is wasted. Even with Wade going off. I guess it's because he had no viable back up. Battier now should give him some rest but Battier's productivity is just ... terrible right now.

FYI...Lebron is averaging the fewest minutes/game of his career.

Just sayin

Good win today? I don't know, I fell asleep at the start of the 3rd. I don't know if it's even worth watching the recording, because it's a terrible team, and we didn't look all that good early anyway. It also looks like we're back to committing a bunch of turnovers again. Oh well, 18-6 ain't so bad. On to the next one. PEACE.

That's because you probably think I am angry first and about this win second.

That crazy because I feel like he's out there the whole game. But I like that, if we can keep his minutes even further down I think it'd help a ton in the playoffs.

This is one aspect of Spoelstra's coaching job this season that I give two big thumbs up.

(Even though I would still like LeBron to check back into the 4th quarter earlier than he has been so he can establish a rhythm come crunch time)

Return to Miami Heat
