BLUEJAYS: Holland

RANGERS: hecvarria, Sydenngard, Gose, McGuire. Maybe Drabek. Sorry for spelling.

Wow you're an....

That's the kind of package you offer to an ace, not freakin Derek Holland.

The prospects are great but listen to this. With Hech we already have Escobar and it doesnt look like they are going to move him or escobar to second. With Gose we already have rasmus and Marsinick. Sydenngard is good but with holland in our rotation it would be like Romero,Holland,Morrow,Alvarez,Cecil/McGowan/Drabek (if not traded in the deal). Drabek hasn't done well, so it doesn't really hurt that much to lose him. IMO, we are really only losing McGuire. They are all great talents, but so is holland.

We aren't only really losing McGuire. That is a ridiculous way of looking at it. We are losing the ability to trade those prospects for other players, since you just dumped half the farm to get Derek Holland.

If I have $50 in my pocket, and I spot a fancy $10 pair of spats I just have to have, and I tell the delightful scamp running the till to keep the change...I lose the opportunity to spend the $40 tip I just gave him, instead of being able to also go out and buy an onion for my belt, which was the style of the times.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

That might not be enough. We may have to throw in Bautista to seal the deal.

And for the record, that would be a much better deal than the Phillies got for Halladay (w/o Bautista).
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Okay, it was a lot. Holland went 16-5 last year, and he's only 25. So if you go deeper into his stats, they are not that amazing, but hes young enough to improve them and become an elite pitcher.

Most of the US media had us 4th or 5th last yr. So perhaps this is improvement.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

How is 13th better than 4th or 5th? Unless you mean 'most of the US media had us 4th or 5th last last year'.
