In seasons Mashburn played over 60 games (6 seasons) he averaged 37 mpg, 41 FG% :( , 19.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 4.2 apg and btw he was a 77% career free throw shooter. I'd say that's a valid comparison if we're going by the numbers. I just hope HB can shoot a higher percentage.

He's this year's Tyreke Evans. Has the size, athleticism and skill level of a star but has good stats bad team moron ball pounder written all over him. Will probably drop 17 and 6 his rookie season and be declared the steal of the draft, who knows what happens from there

Still, a team picking 10th or 11th might be on board with getting a 20 and 6 Evans/Stuckey talent and the chance to whip him into shape. Last year everyone knew Marshon Brooks had as much 20ppg ability as anyone in the draft, but was declared a Ricky Davis type chucker/loser - But Brooks so far has apparantely had a great attitude, so you just don't know, talent is talent.

I could see New Orleans going SF/PF/C their first pick, and PG their 2nd. And Phoenix looking for a guy to fill Nash's shoes. Wroten comes into workouts, looks good, all of a sudden he goes top 10

Wroten is much more explosive off the bounce than Tyreke Evans who relies mostly on his insane ball-handling and long strides when slashing and I doubt Wroten measures out to be 6'6.5" in shoes like he's currently listed. I'd say Wroten is more John Wall than Tyreke Evans though. Still, Wroten seems to be that dynamic PG that the Raptors are looking for; dominates the ball, has a knack for getting to the basket at will with his explosiveness and ball-handling, drawing contact and getting to the line. We need a guard who can draw that sort of attention against set defenses, opening up scoring opportunities for DeMar DeRozan, Andrea Bargnani or Harrison Barnes/Jeremy Lamb. Imagine how deadly the Raptors will be on the perimeter with the defense always having to commit to Wroten's slashing ability.

The knock against Wroten is his decision-making and recklessness. But it's easy to overlook those weaknesses when his talent, skill and production overshadows it. If Wroten is projected to go in the mid/late first-round or early-second, then I'd be willing to take a flier on him considering he could be a home run under the right setting and proper coaching which I think the Raptors have to offer.

And I think there's a reason why Wroten dominates the ball so much because Abdul Gaddy is such a terrible, terrible ball-handler and passer. Just an example, but he single-handedly cost UW a game against Marquette back in December during the Jimmy V Classic with him driving right into two defenders and throwing up a hail mary when his teammates were wide open, especially Terrence Ross who was clutch that game.

Its absolutely pathetic how people on this board blame non NBA prospects. How you can watch that play and blame Abdul Gaddy is beyond me. What exactly was Ross planning to do. Sure Ross was wide open, but their is no way a pass and shot could have gotten off in time -- maybe if he would have cut to the basket, or tried to create a passing lane earlier in the play,

Some of you really had Jeremy Lamb in your top 5? *hand slap laughter*

I'll admit I had him a little too high on my draft board as well (#7-9). His lack of explosion off the dribble is a little very concerning. Also his decision making and lack leadership ability is being exposed with this UCONN team.

Bottomline is he's a solid role player at the next level. But unfortunately you don't draft role players in the top 10.

Just flipping on Raps commercials but Boatright is the fastest with the ball I've seen in the NCAA this year. He's about 5'8 and can dunk, also dish.

Louisville has been on a run since halfway through the first, their zone is tough. Lamb just got his first bucket 3 minutes into the 3rd.

Uconn down 27, with four minutes to play. Absolutely pathetic -- the baskets they score look impressive, but the team lacks so much passion -- giving up so many easy baskets. Lamb is totally disinterested.

I know, Drummond looks disinterested beyond belief.

Ryan Boatwright beasted that game. Too bad UConn got blown out.

The game that should be heavily scouted as well is Florida vs. Kentucky tomorrow. If Beal has a big game, and helps Florida upset Kentucky (which I think is possible, particularly if Patric Young can be physical with Anthony Davis, another interesting individual matchup there), then Beal could all of a sudden find himself rising up the boards, maybe even close to top 5.

Unfortunately, I'll miss a large chunk of that game, but if you guys can recap the performances of all the major prospects involved, it'd be much appreciated.

I don't think Florida has much of a chance at Kentucky. The return match in Florida later in February is a different story however. Home court advantage is huge in BCS conferences.

It must have been the first half which I missed.... I think he should stay in school though.
