Joking aside he's got the fundamentals of a good C down which is great for his development, it's only a mater of time before he'll start making some noise in the NBA , and he's a very smart player so i don't see him fouling out like Amir used to.

Its hard to believe Germany has pretty successful National team, while Schaffartzik is their third best player and a main point. Thats a Dirk & Dirk (Bauermann and Nowitzki) effect for ya.

8/7/1/1 is pretty beastly in 17 minutes.

He could have played in the fourth quarter, but didn't. Foul trouble wasn't the issue. I don't know what was. Rytas was on cruise control.

It's pretty rare for rookie centers to play 30 minutes. It's only happened 14 times in the past 22 years. And only 5 of those guys were 20 years old or under. You might want to lower your expectations.
