Time to get rid of Vets ..Trade away Jefferson, Milsap, Harris, and Howard for whatever U can get and go young rest of the season. We have to play for the future and the young guys are ready.

i totally disagree......the bigs are fine......hope they keep AJ. He is very good.......Hayward and the picks should go. play burks and find some back court help. people are crazy to think that AJ and milsapp and favours and kanter are not good enough. we need a 2 and a consistent 1. even CJ is effective enough to be a a championshiop team.

You realize it's not our "bigs" fault that our coach doesn't put them in the best situation for them to excel in?? Tonight was way more Corbin's fault than it was Al's fault. Al did his best in what the coach called down the strech. It's not his fault he was put in the game (a game he wasn't playing his best and Kanter and Favors were) in crunch time and it's even less his fault the team then decides to give him the ball and get out of the way. What was he supposed to do?? Not shoot it?? Let the 24 sec. clock expire waiting for a cutter inside to pass it to?? Force a pass?? What about Millsap?? He was also force fed a couple of times there in the end where he was 1 on 5 it seemed and everyone else just stared. That's not their fault. It's the coaches job to recognize and execute, and Corbin is still a rookie HC and it shows.

I said go younger 3 days ago. Harris, Hayward, Bell, are ineffective. Howard plays with the wrong players to be effective.. Burkes needs to play 24 minutes a game. Evans needs to play at least 12 minutes a game and favors needs to play 28 minutes a game. Maybe Milsap along with with Harris, Bell and Hayward + #2 Golden state pick should be packaged for a better point guard, a real Small forward and another big man. How about sign Kirlinko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Harris , Bell, Hayward and Millsap are still starting. If this continues we need another head coach also.

I like our rotations, I think we all expected to be a sub .500 team and we are doing well. If we can escape this massive road trip with a record that is close to .500 intact we'll be set to take advantage of another cushy stretch and make the playoffs. Kanter has been getting more minutes lately because he's earned them. Favors is making strides and still getting some key playing time. Burks needs to bulk up a bit and finish his shots, but he's been good for a rookie as well. I don't understand why a couple losses suddenly means we need to scrap something that has been working. Heck, this is probably the best way for Corbin to learn to be a head coach, by having a team that can make the playoffs and learning what decisions make wins and what ones make losses. And honestly, wouldn't you like Favors to have some of Al Jefferson's offensive repertoire?

We always lose to New York, I don't know what it is - I didn't expect anything different. Sometimes teams lose games they shouldn't, this one is no exception.

We're definitely positioned to make the playoffs, the West is really weak and the Jazz don't look like the exact same team as last year (the team that finished the year 10-30) and other teams competing for those spots aren't getting back their best players like Zach Randolph.

I don't think its time to unleash the hounds. You want to keep a few vets. Really, we need to trade for more, we just need to find a way to get a legitimate veteran PG that can be a firm hand for this team. Harris is an emotional wreck. If we could get a Steve Nash, Jason Kidd or Chauncey Billups type--great player who is over the hill but still presents great leadership abilities--I would love it.

Also, we need to place in the lottery. Preferably in the top 10. Its really important that we have 2 lottery picks this year, so that we can drive the stake home with this rebuilding job. But you want to keep Millsap, Howard and Bell on the team and showing that veteran presence. You don't wanna go too far.

It is really time to go young. We know what the veterans are capable of, and even the team can make the play-offs, second round seems not possible.
So increase the minutes of the young core, and chase for the young assets to trade with the veterans. This is the way to go.
If someone is dreaming of success this year, again if we have one per cent chance of that, this would be coming from the young core as we yet do not know their limits. So with more minutes we may see their limits.

Worse case scenario for me would be watching this team try to claw and scratch their way into an 8th seed, only to further set back player development and lose our pick. That's the last thing I want to happen.

I don't think scratching up makes our current players worse. Seeing hard work and doing hard work is more important. The problem is our young players who deserve more are behind the best vets. I think a trade is in order, but I don't know what is actually being offered in return.

All I got to do to feel better about where this team is is look at the standings, and then look at the rest of the teams records.
They are right there, it isn't that bad.
