Exactly.

Otis is part of the reason we're in this mess, no way in hell does he get the final say in this.
Yep, the rumored Nets deal a few months back was shot down by ownership reportedly so if it was true that confims it...
I'm almost sure that deal was bull though. I mean Portland would have gotten 5 1st rounders for Gerald Wallace.........

what things? I only saw the one article on the Suns listening to a Nash trade request. Either way..get BOTH!

haha, just my take on the general vibe of things. It's all speculation. If you read about the Stephen Jackson situation though, it really seems like they've set him up to move him. He's saying all the right things, the coaches talk real good about him, yet he sits on the bench.

ahh havent been following that story..Damn their benching him?

+1, did anyone realize that? I thought it was bullspit from the get go. 5 firsts for Gerald Wallace and Orlando gets none of those for Dwight? Yeah right.

just went over to the bucks board to check on sjax, and man things are very depressing over there. Granted their team is playing good ball right now, the things they are discussing for trades and are actually asking for is pretty bad. Reminded me of the days of chris gatlin, monty williams, and rod stewart. Heres hoping d. williiams sees how good a city orlando during allstar weekend and changes his mind to demand a trade to here.

just saw on hoopsworld(i dunno how reliable) but celts might be interested in gasol for rondo. Probably this is just pure speculation, but if orlando can turn howard into bynum/rondo that would trump anything that is on the table now.

Seems so. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7549611/stephen-jackson-milwaukee-bucks-stuck-bench-unsure-role

Strange article. Coaches saying he's putting the effort in during practice and that they respect him. Players saying they wish he was playing, yet he's not getting much if any minutes.

this is so frustrating knowing monta would solve ALL of our problems. Dwight would fall in love with him and we have role players that would compliment his game well. Its a shame otis blew his trade assets, any offer we make would get laughed at.

Monta... sigh, if only he was on our team :(

he has 40 pts in the 3rdQ. I can't blame it all on otis, i doubt a package centered around gortat would even get ellis to orlando. perhaps gortat and clee would of got it done lol

At least with gortat and vc's expiring, we could have had the flexibility of getting a 3rd team involved in order to acquire ellis :(

^^ i feel ur pain man. the sad thing is a don't think dwight would walk away from orlando if they were a true title contender with a bright future. when he says he cares about winning i believe him. the big market of brooklyn is a bonus imo but i doubt he wants the losing nets if orlando got their sh*t together.

yeah see... for the last two years I've felt like if Dwight had a true robin (a 2nd legit star) by his side (not VC, not Rashard, but a legit play-making young star like Ellis, CP3, or Iggy) he wouldn't leave at all... he'd have it all right here... the shooters/role players surrounding him, the defensive minded head coach, and finally a play-maker/star who can take over in the 4th quarter to relieve Dwight the pressure of carrying the team 24/7.

i feel like that's always been the missing piece for us :(
