Although Drummond's been underwhelming, there's no way in hell he's going lower than say a 3rd or 4th pick

Do your top seven players that you would like for the Raptors highest to lowest (assume all players under discussion declare). Assuming we are top 10 pick, team should have to go farther then seven down to get a player. I will accumulate the score in a few days.

1. Anthony Davis
2. MKG
3. Harrison Barnes
4. Andre Drummond (too much potential to push too far down)
5. Perry Jones
6. Thomas Robinson
7. Quincy Miller

Remember this is not necessarily who you think will go as top seven in the draft. Just the seven best prospects if you were drafting for the Raptors

1. Anthony Davis
2. Harrison Barnes
3. MKG
4. Lamb
5. Beal
6. River
7. PJ3

I'm passing on him at 7 if the draft was today. I've just watched him look aimless too many times that I don't care to add him to my favourite team. Maybe he turns on the jets and I change my mind again, but superstars usually announce themselves early and all-stars figure out how to help their team win. I haven't seen anything from Drummond yet that makes me think he'll fulfil his potential.

I know where you're getting at but if your solely expecting a superstar or bust (two extremes) scenario then I can see why one would pick the latter to be more realistic. But I don't see any reason why he can't be a 15 and 10 guy with more commitments from his team to develop him, he's also a good defender and if you add it all up I can see him easily going top 3-4. Even Dwight was extremely raw when he entered the league and probably wouldn't have averaged more than 15 ppg in College. The only thing I'm scared of is his lack of motor, the talent is there mind you.

hahaha steely is calling ppl clueless when he is clueless about who he loves! At one time he opens a Davis vs. PJ3 thread to criticize on Davis so insanely bad that somehow today his board shows Davis being 2nd OVER his lover boy PJ3. Dun worry, Steely will eventually put Barnes over MKG as 1st pick hahhaha. Ah good old Steely little kiddo, he always makes me laugh  best clown ever

Loving Michael Gilchrist, looks like James Johnson with an offensive game.

Assuming Wroten, Kabongo and other sleepers don't fall into the 2nd rd; I hope we grab Will Barton or Jeffery Taylor with ours (2nd rdr). Barton's a really aggresive player and great rebounder at SG and Taylor just seems like a pretty good, polished SF....

 Yes to Taylor, but I think he'll get a 1st rd. grade from most teams. His teammate John Jenkins, however, is supposedly a prolific shooter, who doesn't play much 'D, but could have a Korver-esque role off the bench. Every team could use a lights-out shooter in a specialty role.

He is a great shooter!

However if we go that route then we might look at Lillard (6'1) too although I like Jenkins (6'4) a little more just based on size.

Honorable mention: Thomas Robinson, Jared Sullinger (in that order). It's kinda hard in this draft to make a list like this. The talent is so equal throughout the lottery from 2-14. Even guys like Wroten and Ross could be special and I think are lottery talent.

I think me, you and Swag have been high on Wroten before the season even started but I dunno why I always forget about Ross?!? I definitely think he can be a stud at the next level and really makes me feel better about our options if BC can trade Davis + something for a late lotto.

If we don't win the draft I will be ecstatic if we come out of the draft with some combo of Barnes/MKG/PJ3/(healthy) Miller and Lamb/Beal/Ross/Rivers.

He has the best handle in this class imo, and since this league lacks star guard, I can see him bust out the 20 pts mark and contribute across the board and perhaps makes the all star reserve in the East or West wherever he ends up, and have a poor mans brandon roy type of career. It sucks that he cant lead the uconn team this year tho, idk how that will affect his draft stock but nonetheless, I see him going as high as the 3rd pick in this draft. This kid is going to have a bright future for sure.
