It sure has. Glad that this team is heading in the right direction. There still needs to be some more work done (not too much more) but we're not as far away as some of us thought in years past.

His post up game looked improved in his few attempts this season from what I remember. If he was backing up Pek he could just play facing the basket from the elbow with the lane open. I think a consistent role would help cut down on his dumb plays. He always seems to be trying to prove himself and that doesn't help his bad shot selection.

That was fun, be nice if our guys could shoot, at least the free throws, way too close...
But, we now have this awesome flick to watch;

I'm glad we got the win, but I absolutely am loathing Tolliver right now. I was pulling my hair out while screaming at my TV for Williams or AR as I watched our lead diminish into a tie game around the 4 minute mark. Then, when it's all tied up....The Lion is uncaged and scored at least 7 points in 4 minutes (although he missed some free throws). If you look at the +/- of this game, JJ, Tolliver, and Ridnour were easily the worst performers of the night. When Tolly is in, our rebounding goes in the toilet. At least Beasley was using some Love Miracle Glass Cleaner tonight.

But we won! Pek's been called a beast, a monster, the pekinator, a rapist, and many others. But none of those words seem to do him justice.
Pek is a JUGGERNAUT!

Also, I couldn't help myself from shouting "Rubio, I LOVE YOU!" at one point during his great showing tonight. It was awkward, but it felt right. It felt right.

At one of the wolves ticket holder events we went to Brunswick and had unlimited bowling and arcade. The players showed up for an hour and a half or so and Pek spent the whole time playing one of those games with the guns where you shoot aliens for the entire time as fans cycled through the 2nd player spot. The players were supposed to rotate to photo and autograph stations but he didn't. Then when they left Pek was the last one there with a guy trying to drag him away from the game. That's when I knew that nobody tells Pek what to do.

I hear ya, Tolliver and Luke drove me nuts. Luke was garbage after the 1st quarter, and Tolliver, well I'm glad his contract is over soon. Not sure what he did this offseason but it didn't help.

Reading the recap from Sactown Royalty, I always find it funny when someone says we should have won the game if we did this and that and this and that.

Well, no ****. You would have won if you would have played better, but our play remained the same? SHOCKING! We would have blown them out if we could have hit a wide open outside shot or made our FTs.

I'm guilty of this, but I try to stay consistent in at least playing at a level of under 16 TOs and at least 75% at the line. I think more times than not, if we hit those, we win. Especially earlier in the season.

By that reasoning, we should have lost.

Great first quarter... after that we missed a ton of shots and Pekovic was the one who keep us in the game. Good defensive effort by Rubio and nice assists, but he fail this time at the clutch time and he knows that, i think is going to be a good experience for him to learn.
Nice begining by DWill, then he played poor and in the clutch that three gave us the lead and the game.
Awful game at the FT line... it's amazing that we won the game missing so many FT's .
We are near the playoffsssssss!!!! AAAAARRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Pek is right now a top10 center in the league the combo Ricky-Love-Pek is going to give us a lot of joy this season.

great win!!!...heart in the mouth on donte's last shot

hate to be negative after a win but:

jj - i hate his game...he'll have the odd good game and good play but he is way to dribble and shot happy and just plain wild for my liking....through up some complete bs shots tonight.

luke - your shot selection was beyond awful tonight...keep taking the open shots off swings and drive and kicks but stop shooting ever fricken 16 footer in transition.

tolliver - why the f is he getting minutes? yes he makes the odd nice hustle play but every thing else he is terrible at. i am beyond sick of him playing the weak side, 3 point corner on the pick and roll only get wide open looks and continually miss...where was martell or ar?

where was martell? give ar some burn goddammit

on a more positive note.

pek has arrived...just shaq like down low, unstoppable...so dam proud and happy for the guy...i strongly doubted this guy and i couldn't be more happy to be wrong...way to go big fella.

ricky? standard excellence...though was suprised he took that last shot and even more so how early he went.

DW - great game for the kid...happy to see him play well and knock down some big shots in the 4th.

beas - i think he was being forced to take those last shots by RA...throughout the game the guy is doing a much better job of doing the intangibles and picking his spots to be aggresive...really happy with his progress despite a rough shooting night.

great win fellas!!

The word selection implies that AR realizes he has an option other than try to score every time he gets the ball, and I'm not sure he does.

That's the reason he doesn't get playing time. He's the biggest blackhole on the team and when he's on the court the ball's almost certain to stop moving every time he touches it. That's the quickest way to land in the doghouse of most coaches, particularly Adelman's.

Same here, then I felt silly when Jim Pete pointed out that Greene's a 27% shooter from beyond the arc. 73% chance to win even before you take into account it was rushed.

Feels great to be following a team above .500. Think of all the pining Minnesota fans have done for Evans and Cousins, and that the Timberwolves just beat them with their max contract PF tied behind their back.

I really don't want to start thinking playoffs right now, but it's hard not to when the season's over 1/3 of the way over and the Wolves are a game out.

I'm looking at Rubio's defensive numbers on synergy and it's not that impressive imo. Which I thought was weird. Both Tyreke & Rubio are ranked the same overall.

He (& Evans) are holding his man to 0.87 PPP (points per possession). Which is respectable. Rubio's best defensive attribute is man-to-man defense. He's holding his man to 0.61 PPP and creating TOs at 16% rate.

Rumour has it that Pek and Darko run their own underground fight club.

Well said, this remark smells to Montenegrin testosterone. Twitter isn't for men, is for the ladies and the fags. Wow, I love write this kind of jokes because in Spain aren't politically correct.

Agree, apparently he only talks with Darko. I suspect Ricky is afraid of him, but this will change soon.
