Check this page out for a look at just how valuable Ryan Anderson has become:

http://www.basketballprospectus.com/unfiltered/?p=834

He's top 2 or 3 in just about every category right behind Lebron and D-Rose.

If Otis is truly making a last effort for Monta Ellis then Anderson has to be included in the deal... I would assume

I know we have all harped on it for a long time BUT after watching the GSW/OKC game last night, it was clear that Monta will hold back Curry there as long as he is there so eventually one of them will have to be moved. So why not Monta/Beidrins for Nelson/JJ/Ryno/Harper/2 firsts? It works financially....We are currently what, 12th best record in the league so if that stayed true, GSW would have a decent 1st rounder from us especially in this draft. Nelson is at worst an expiring after next season, so is JJ. They get a Top 10 young, rebounding, 3 pt shooting PF. And yes they give up a top 5 SG, but after NEXT season he will opt out and get a MAX contract and I doubt GSW will want to pay that. Not to mention the Beidrins salary dump. If that trade went through GSW would be deadly from outside...

Curry/Nelson/Nate.
JJ/Klay.
Wright/Rush.
Anderson/Udoh.
Lee/Kwame.

Trade would be contigent on selling to GSW that Curry's development is being held back and that they don't want to pay Ellis a Max deal after next season. They can build around Curry and Anderson and clear salary and have money for FAs. Who knows...

We lose depth but would run with...

Monta/Ish/Duhon
JRich/Wafer/Liggins
Hedo/Q/FA
BBD/Clark/Harper
Howard/Beidrins/Orton

I'd try. Also, a 3-way with NOH sending Jameer and Kaman to Golden State who sends Monta and Biedrins to Orl, we send JJ, Ryno, Harper, Orton, and Q-Rich and a 1st to NOH for Ariza. :D

I would welcome Monta Ellis to Orlando in a heart beat. The play I saw from him last night against James Harden is unreal. I hope Otis could get something done for him but at the same time Ariza is a nice thought as well

Even if Dwight still does want out, I'd pay to watch Ellis play. He is not as exciting or explosive as a in his prime T Mac but he is still fun to watch. Ellis, Brooks, and Lopez is not a bad core to build around.

I dont know if they should trade Ryan AND Harper...That stretch 4 offense works for us especially if you add a guy who can create like monta. I'd rather he drive and kick to Ryan or Harper than Fat A$$ and I think ariza would fit better than Turk. Clearly the ball would be in montas hands most of the time and you need a blue collar player/defender that doesnt need the ball to be effective.

Magic better cut their Ticket prices in half if they want to keep season ticket holders even with Monta.

I think we'd need a 3rd team to get Monta. But if we were to do a straight up deal, I imagine it would have to look something like this:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=6w7v5wr
GSW Receives: JJ, Ryan, Turk
ORL Receives: Monta, Beindrins

Monta/Jameer/Duhon/Ish
J-Rich/Von/Liggins
Q/Clark
Big Baby/Clark/Harper
Dwight/Beindrins/Orton

We get a backup center and a playmaker. I'm pretty sure we'd have to involve Nelson with a 3rd team to sweeten the deal though.

Also, after March 1st, Big Baby and J-Rich can be traded and both can be serviceable to many teams. Perhaps GS wants J-Rich and Big Baby instead of Turk. Those could also be swung in a 3 team deal. For us, after March 1st, the market should open up a bit more, which is why I don't think acquiring Monta is out of the realm of possibility yet.

I'd hope to go this rout. Replace JJ with J Rich. I don't think GSW would want Turk. He stays.

Latest mocks have us taking PG Kendall Marshall, some at pick 16, 17, 18. Oh man ! If we could draft Marshall and D12 stays.  We would finally have our CP3/Deron type PG.
