Jefferson & Harris got to go

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Wed Feb 8, 2012 6:39 pm

Al Jefferson has to go as he is holding up the development of our young bigs. Just like when Jefferson left Minn, Love became the man and he improved dramatically. Harris is simply a bad player. KOC needs to help out Corbin by getting rid of these guys.

I'll cosign to the extent that Al and Harris should be moved, but I believe KOC needs to hold out for a reasonable return on Al without being saddled with another team's long term bad contract. We can overpay a good player next season, possibly one more, but then our young guys will be due for payment.

In other words, I don't endorse making a panic move-- not that KOC would. Chances are very good that neither one plays for the Jazz next season, but I don't know about the remainder of this season.

Send Al Jefferson to the Pistons, we'll take him!! Monroe needs help in the front-court badly

If the Jazz were able to trade either one of these two, we may lose a bit more games (not sure about that in Harris's case), but the benefits are two fold. The Jazz get a lottery pick and the future Jazz players get more minutes. We all know Jefferson is not part of the Jazz future.

Dwight 2011-2012 - 20.6 Points - 14.5 Rebounds - 2.1 Blocks

Corbin needs to go? Why, because there are so many other experienced coaches that could do a better job with this group of guys?

Give me a break. He's done an outstanding job. The players love him, yet he's not scared to get on their ass when needed. He's passionate, smart, and experienced. He's made adjustments to improve the Jazz where Sloan refused to, and will continue to systematically adjust when/where needed. Half the teams in the league would kill for a coach of his caliber and potential.

All the **** teams in this league are the ones who fire their coaches as soon as there's trouble. You want to be the Bobcats or Nets?

Didn't think so.
