Trade Hendo to Cleveland for their first asap

There's nothing that Gerald does better than Reggie, other than defense and he can land the Cats a second first rounder in a deep draft.

I'd rather trade Kemba. He's nothing but a less athletic, less of a PG Nate Robinson

Oh wow! Good trade idea. I like Hendo, but the OP is right about Reggie vs. Hendo, and Hendo is kind of one dimensional offensively. I think Barnes or Hendo will be the better player then him down the stretch.

get serious.

depth wins. what is the harm in having two good wings? reggie can play 1,2 and 3. hendo can play 2 and 3. both players can play together. both players can play 30 minutes.

trade hendo for what? a mid 1st? and then you hope you can draft a player at 15 who is as good as hendo. nobody is giving up a top 5 pick for hendo.

Hendo won't net us a top 10 pick in this draft; there's no way Cleveland does this. We'd have to give up Kemba. Besides, there's no need to trade the young guys (the rookies and Henderson) right now. They've got plenty of potential. Let them pan out a bit, and only trade them for other young talent as promising as them.

Henderson is not untouchable, but his value is greater to us at the moment than a lower level pick. Now, would I take a top 10 pick for him in a very deep draft? Probably, but nobody is going to do that. Fats is right, in that we need depth at all positions, and having both Reggie and Hendo is a plus for us.

We need to trade Tyrus for a productive player or a pick.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Thank God some of you people don't run this team. Williams has two nice games, and you are ready to trade someone for a mid first rounder.

"The only thing Gerald does better than Reggie is play defense" - Uh.. Yeah, and last I checked defense is kind of a big deal. Reggie can light it up at times, but he cant guard anyone. I see nothing wrong with letting Henderson continue to be the starter, and letting Williams come off the bench for instant offense in a Jason Terry type of way. We finally have good depth at our guard positions, and people are ready to jettison players for draft picks. Need to keep our current roster, and continue to build slowly through the draft. There isn't a quick fix for this team, and patience will be the key.

I would honestly make this trade. Kemba is a great defender and an incredible rebounder who is younger than Hendo....

Who exactly is this stud you are targeting at the bottom of the lottery that you imagine is going to be worth giving up our young stud Hendo. He does it on both ends of the floor, and scores without plays being ran for him. The only reason I am willing to trade DJ is because he sucks on defense. Hendo is as close as we have to untouchable. Even DWade has publically praised Hendo's defense.

Kemba scores 12.5 in 28.5 minutes. Henderson scores 15 in 33.8. That's pretty similar, in my opinion, without Henderson hogging the ball and lowering team FG%. Offensively, Henderson is a strong asset. What makes Kemba special is what we hope he'll do later.

Don't get your hopes up over 2 games with Reggie. Absolutely a knee-jerk reaction...I hope, to call for a trade of Hendo. He's the future 2 guard and is here to stay...i hope...and hopefully become a player similar to that Kobe-esk (to a smaller scale) guy we see every now and then.
