Kobe has those long arms though and is just a straight up bully. I see him extra motivated to not get shown up by a tiny PG like Lin. Will be fun to watch.

LIn is not tiny 6'3".5 and 200lbs is a good size for a point.

No surprise there.. He's got the typical asian stereotype. It's just an illusion that many eyes tend to see.

Nobody ever talks about CP3's height, with him being 3 inches shorter, and 20 somewhat pounds lighter than JLin. Not to mention countless others who have played the PG position at a high level.

Lin is not a small PG by any means.

How does he do guarding Nash because that's basically what he will be facing

fisher's a master flopper. maybe the best of all time. he can shove you and YOU'D get called for the foul. wouldn't be surprised if lin was in foul trouble all night long

Man who would have thought without Melo and Stat, we would be thinking that we could beat L.A. #Linsanity.

This is a nice measuring stick. Without Amar'e and Melo is criminal against the Lakers BUT I look at this game as another test for the Asian sensation. Lin is really working well as the vital cog between Chandler, Fields, Novak, and Shumpert.

We're going to win.

Kobe is going to shoot 7-28,Gasol is soft and Chandler can defend Bynum.

Don't worry,we got this one

My mistake. My judgment has nothing to do with him being Asian, though. I find his game reminds me a lot of J J Barea. Lin isn't tiny but he plays like he is.

not sure if playing tiny equates to playing low to the hardwood, but if it does blame it on Gary Payton..

"Lin’s basketball agency includes former Seattle Supersonics guard Gary Payton. Payton has given Lin advice on what it takes to make it in the NBA. “He mainly talked to me about staying low and in a stance at all times on offense and defense. He said that [is] one of my biggest weaknesses.”

Well said, it might be the difference in taking him from a average PG to the next level (whatever that might be)

I hope Lin does not get nervous because it is the Lakers. I hope he goes in with the "I have nothing to lose" mentality, because he does have the skill to continue to do what he is doing against the Lakers.

Do it Lin!

Sorry guys, the Knicks might keep it close through 3 quarters but not enough fire power to stay with the Lakers as their game plan will be to keep Tyson on the bench with fouls and succeed. Lin will have an ok night but it will be a drop off game for him with not enough help and the doubters will have a field day talking trash about the 'flash in the pan', 'only against bad teams' and 'lucky' Lin...:nonono:

This is a game where we would need that extra scorer like JR Smith when Melo/Amar'e is out.
If we win & Lin continues his surge then I think a lot of the doubters will re-think their doubt.
