I hope the Kobe that shows up for this game is the "chucker" version that goes 10-30 and shoots fadeaway 3's against triple teams instead of passing the ball.

To be honest though I'm more afraid of Andrew Bynum, the guy has been beasting.
He's scored 20+ his last 5 games in a row, he's starting to put up Dwight Howard numbers.

His last 4 games:

20-11 vs Charlotte
22-10 vs Denver
21-12 vs Utah
20-20 vs Philly

If Chandler gets in foul trouble we're going to get owned in the paint. Look how the Jazz abused us in there during the 3rd when Chandler was sitting out, and Bynum + Gasol are much better players than the Jazz big men.

Yeah, Bynum is the biggest punk in the league. I hope Chandler schools him. I can see Bynum throwing dirty fouls if Lin starts shredding the paint on them.

If Lin starts destroying Fisher, I gotta think that Kobe's going to guard Lin. But then Landry should be a mismatch on Fisher.

I hear the game plan the Lakers may use against Lin is the some time switch the PnR and force Lin to try and post up Tyson or JJ?

They might even go hard under the pick and try and force him to take jumpers..

Whats the counter gameplan?

Forget Landry being the mismatch, wait til Shumpert is running lose on Fisher.

That makes no sense, why would Lin be posting up his own team mates?

We can't match the Lakers. That is unless Kobe finds his inner chucker. I am more optimistic for the Saturday game. Rubio vs. Lin is exciting.

The Lakers will be coming off a back-to-back at Boston. Let's hope it's a tight game where Kobe, Pau and Bynum play extended minutes. Lakers won't have time to make any adjustments to Lin or anybody else.

We're going to need Tyson to stay out of foul trouble and contain Bynum. JJ vs. Gasol is a bad matchup for us.

Lin/Tyson PnR should work fine. Bynum isn't the fastest play in the world and Fisher is a corpse.

If we win this game I will call him Bruce Lin.

I don't expect a victory here because our talent levels don't match up. However, if the Lakers come in here thinking its an automatic, we will win. this team plays hard and if you don't play as hard you are in trouble vs us right.

For all of you guys knocking the Tyson Chandler signing, eat your words boy. This guy is huge for this team right now. We had four Guards on the court yesterday and his D made up for it. He is a smart PnR player and if you throw anything that remotely looks like a lob, he is dunking it.

Amare will beast the second half of the season. Lin is a much better PnR player then Ramon Feldton. If Stat played good with him watch what he will do with LIn.

If we play team ball this team will be unstoppable with our two stars. That is if we can play team ball and get rid of Iso's.

One more thing about Tyson. Tyson will limit Stats minutes and Stat will Limit Tyson's minutes.

Lin's best game as a Warrior was against the Lakers. He was especially effective against Fisher. Hopefully the he will continue to rally the troops and we'll surprise them.

Return to New York Knicks
