I feel that what makes the Lakers great may prove to be a problem against us.

If we execute the PnR properly, we might get their bigs in foul trouble that's a good way to defeat them. Or they can pack and lane and let Novak make his layups from beyond the three point line.

No, the Knicks should not "punt" this game. The Lakers are no longer the best team in the league anymore, they are still very good because of Kobe obviously but they are not impossible to defeat. I don't know if the Knicks will win but I'm sure they will compete with the Lakers and play hard.

I credit Lin for Fields better play not only because he finds him cutting, but because he replaced Andy Rautins as his butt buddy :D .

We have to get their big guys in foul trouble...

My problem here is who will defend Kobe? Shumpert?

Shumpert is our only hope...we all have seen numerous times what Kobe does to Fields.

How's Bynum's p&r defense? I can see J-Lin splitting some screens tomorrow night.

Shumpert really should start instead of Bill Walker with Novak as our first 6th man.

Shumpert on Kobe will be another good matchup to watch in this game.

Some Synergy stats.

@Real2KInsider Rashidi
Jeremy Lin the #3 P/R player in the game according to Synergy. You don't say.

@Real2KInsider Rashidi
Steve Novak the #2 Spotup player in the game according to Synergy. Yet guys like Brian Cardinal and Brian Scalabrine get signed every year.

Unfortunately we will see Walker out there until he screws up enough to get benched.

If it leads to his early ejection, I'm sure Lin doesn't mind taking one for the team. Lin is the very best example of a team first player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lin prepares some form of flop move around Bynum as an intentional strategy to get him called for flagrant/ejection.

This is a very difficult game to win

The problem we have is simply you need to get their bigs in foul trouble, and we are not doing that without an inside scorer like Amare

Jared Jeffries will not get it done and we simply got no big man depth

Kobe will be unstoppable we got no one to contain him unless Shumpert decides to be Bruce Bowen

We need to hit 3s and lots of em

I believe Lin will have another big game but it will not be enough.

If we manage to pull this one out then we are legit

More important than that is keeping OUR big guy out of foul trouble. If Tyson picks up early fouls, I don't think Lin can run the PnR with Jeffries against the Lakers frontcourt.
