I watched the Baylor game. T-Rob wasnt that great but PJ3 was invisible. His body language gave me the impression he had other things he wanted to get to tonight.

Proposed this scenario last week....of course we need to be lucky enough to be in a position to draft Barnes and I was hoping that EDavis + something could net the pick for Rivers. I know I would give up DeRozan for Beal and Rivers is on the edge for me. Just like the idea of:

FA
Rivers
Barnes
Bargnani
Valanciunas

This isn't even the best scenario I could imagine but I would be happy as hell with that line up going into the next season and onward.

??? I think Rivers is actually underrated, I have him as having a Jamal Crawford Vinnie Johnson 6th man role in the NBA and that's a very good pick if he goes non lotto which looks likely

I don't want any part of Perry Jones at the next level. He plays no defense, floats around the court for significant periods (if not the entire game like tonight), and is as soft a basketball player as you will find.

I like him in a high end 6th man role. Someone said Jamaal Crawford. I'd love that...not sure if we can get him down there anymore though lol this guys stock just sky rocketed at least 5 places lol

But the course of action for BC should be to acquire more picks. We need them desperately...this team really isn't good at all. I'm not even sold with Bargnani being our starting PF. He's still gotta rebound better and work on that help defense.

I think anyone on this team is movable for the right price.

Realistically I can see Toronto with Barnes, MKG, Lamb, or Miller. The next step would be

Trade Bayless + Ed Davis for Tony Wroten, the 6'5 PG?

Wroten

Barnes
Bargnani

Don't worry, he's not BC kind of guy.

Can someone explain to me why there is still love for Quincy Miller right now? He just seems to have so many bad/terrible games and float for long stretches. Add in a surgically repaired ACL and some maturity questions and I just don't see him as a top prospect especially for this team. What are others seeing that I'm missing?

Yeah, quite frankly, I'm not seeing it either. Whenever I watch him, he doesn't appear to have any lift.

A lot of you guys think Rivers is a chucker, but is it really that bad? If he connects on most of his shots in the future, having a guy like that who looks for his shot is actually good for our team. Most of our guys pass up on a lot of shots - besides barbosa who is a FA next year and maybe bargnani. Rivers can easily get in the lane to drive and kick and create shots for others, and he can play alongside a pg who can do the same

No he can't. He needs a pick or he winds up from half court on his drives. His game is closer to Ben Gordon's, but Ben actually would pass from time to time. Rivers could play point guard, I think, if he wanted to. But that's always a risk not worth taking, IMO. Not when there's guys that have more to offer out there.

^LOL that's exactly what it would of looked like.

Random thought but seeing AD again makes me want to see us change our team's colours to white and blue (like the Leafs, BlueJays and Argos)....just makes more sense to stay with those colours and forget about being "Canada's" team; we will always be that by default. I like the idea of a "Kentucky" look for our team -- Husky colours without the lame artic reference.

People are just that hung up on drafting SF

I'm guessing Q Mill stays another year anyways.

Thoughts on Isaiah Canaan with our 2nd rounder? Little man, big heart. He has Murray State at 20 something and 0.

Prefer any out of Jeffrey Taylor, Will Barton or Damian Lillard over him.
