So now we lost Keith Bogans

Post#1 » by VCRJKidd15 » Thu Feb 9, 2012 8:03 pm

plays every game last season but gets injured in his 5th game....We are the luckiest team in the NBA

@Nets_PR
Keith Bogans suffered complete tear of deltoid ligament as well as a fractured left ankle vs. DET on 2/8. Will undergo surgery on Feb. 13.

Yup, said this last night, that injury looked super nasty.

Is the deltoid ligament a really tough one to come back from like an Achilles?

Ugh... good luck Keith... that sucks, but hopefully he comes back strong next season.

You know, when I read that on Twitter I was on the elevator, I burst out with laughter and everyone just stared at me. I think this is hilarious, not the injury of course because getting injured is no laughing matter and I wish Bogans a speedy recovery, but the fact that he lasted just just a week on this cursed team despite starting all 82 games with the bulls.

Lets see. Lopez, Okur, Brooks, Stevenson, James and now Bogans have or will miss a ton of games. Then you have the lingering injuries that have caused other players to miss games. This is just hilarious to me.

I feel you Jeff, that was like when Hansbrough killed Morrow's ankle in Indy, my first reaction was to laugh with disbelief and irony.

I did the exact same thing when I sat in front of my computer and read ND.

That's all I could do. Just laugh.

Nets could use Travis Outlaw right now.

Man I'm reading up on it right now and it's a rare and nasty injury, although so far it seems like it's something he can come back from 100%, but it usually takes about double the time a similar injury would have if the ankle turned in to this extent instead of out.

It's what's called a medial sprain and it almost always comes attached to a fracture of some sort in the ankle or even the fibula by the knee! :o

Fire Tim Walsh and his crew, this season is unbelievable. Kinda joking, but kinda not.

Who is up next Larry Hughes or Owens again.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
