Ibaka with 6-8-9 at the end of the 3rd. A couple of easy buckets in the 4th and he's got his first trip-dub you'd think

game got tight due to bad rebounding and we go 1 on 5, 5 consecutive trips down the floor with Durant and Westbrook contested jumpers.

Also what's with using this small ball lineup exclusively in the clutch. Pretty much no other time in the game

The team as usual does not understand how to close a game offensively. Doesn't value possessions and I don't think they understand how destructive turnovers are...

Very disappointing. That last three point attempt by Durant was lazy, needless, careless, etc. These guys just don't understand how to play well down the stretch of games offensively. Can they win a title that way? I doubt it. Games like this whether they win or not illustrates how this team is not as good as their record indicates.

This team hasn't improved at all the last couple years closing games offensively. It's still the same one on one stuff. I said it last year but the team's weakest link at the moment is on the sideline. Brooks is not a championship caliber coach, IMO. How you could have so much talent but look so bad in key moments is boggling.

If they hadn't called that block on Ibaka a goal tend we had that game won/ portland fan

That was absolutely disgraceful. We had a 7 point lead with about 5 minutes to go and as soon as they made a little run we stopped. Literally no offense. It was Durant or Westbrook dribbling from 30 feet. Bad defense, no rebounding. On every play they scored, even if they had missed we weren't in position to get the board. No chance of winning. Bad offense, bad defense, bad coaching. I don't think i've ever been angrier at this team.

Scott Brooks pissed me off with the small ball down the stretch. Our focus level is just so inconsistent as well, not just game to game, but during the same game.

I think even with the 0% effort we played we would've won if he put in a proper 4 man for Cook.

We just struggled on the boards, had bad spacing/ no passing on offense and the key was wide open for Sac on the other end.

also, do we have the lowest BBIQ of all the elite teams? We play some really really stupid basketball in stretches.

Wow... for the best record in the league, you guys sure are pretty down on your team after just one loss...
Great game though.

We just don't bring the effort sometimes...you saw the last 5 minutes.

Last losses to Washington, Portland and Sac were all just games where we only brought the intensity for patches of the game

In the last 5 minutes it was like deja vu when we faced the Wizards, we lost a couple of rebounds than couldn't shut them down in the final moment.

Great game. I just wanted to ask what happened to James Harden in the second half? He was killing the Kings in the first and I don't remember a possession where he got the ball in the second.

Well I don't know about effort. I think they had plenty of effort until ibaka fouled out of the game. That guy is a BEAST on defense.
but basically the kings just played out of their minds. It was their first solid game from start to finish since the very first game of the season when they beat the Lakers. Before the game started, I was just hoping we would play a good game on national TV and not get blown out early like we have a tendency to do against better teams, much less actually win the game. I think we're finally starting to show that we aren't quite as BAD as our record shows.

Oh yeah, and Westbrook is a Kobe wannabe. I'm not a fan of his game at all. He's a talented player, don't get me wrong, but he has the mentality that I see in too many kids nowadays where they THINK they can do what Kobe does and challenge 3, 4, 5 defenders or pull up and take the first available jump shot every time they have the ball. As a point guard, he finished with 3 assists and 7 turnovers. THAT is what's really not going to get it done in the post season, not the effort part.

Durant had 27, but it seemed rather quiet to me. As if overshadowed by Westbrook tonight.

Thunder's offense suck so bad that you shouldn't make hard statements on any individual.

Scott Brooks shouldn't be coaching this team.
