Man I'm reading up on it right now and it's a rare and nasty injury, although so far it seems like it's something he can come back from 100%, but it usually takes about double the time a similar injury would have if the ankle turned in to this extent instead of out.

It's what's called a medial sprain and it almost always comes attached to a fracture of some sort in the ankle or even the fibula by the knee!
