Not enough credit given to Mcgee's help-defense/shot blocking ability. Look at him dominate Rose multiple times in this game. If Lin could totally neutralize Mcgee like he was able to, then BRING ON THEM TWIN TOWERSS 8-) 8-)

Come on, guys. I mean, I like your team and I like Jeremy Lin, but you act like your wins were against the Heat and the Bulls. Utah is a good win, but the Wizards and Nets are two of the worst defenses in the league. The Lakers are at the top in defense and rebounding, plus Kobe who we saw last time has no one who can guard him on the Knicks. I like your confidence, but don't count your chickens before they hatch.

Very offensive for both parties. "Black" in black mamba was never in reference to Kobe's race. You got to think about these things before you post them.

I think Jeffries will be the key tonight, if he can't pretend to be an offensive player, Gasol will just roam around as a help defender. It might look perplexing at first, but don't be surprised if Lin looks for Jeffries early.

The Lakers are terrible at defending the pick and roll which is all we'll be doing tonight

Are you still going to be laughing when the Knicks get their ass beat? Just keep the Kobe MVP chants for the second half, if you could.

Doesn't Kobe call himself the Black Mamba? That was my understanding.

I'm worried that if Lin goes off Bynum is going to cheap shot him.

The fact that's it out-of-focus somehow makes it better. Kind of like I've got beer goggles on.

- Not my image, hoss. Found it on the general board at insidehoops.com. Didn't mean to offend anyone, just found it amusing.

I'm actually worried that Lin might have the jitters for this game. Yes, he shined when he first got an opportunity, but the circumstances are diff for this game:

1) It's the Lakers.
2) It's nationally televised.
3) It's at the height of Linsanity and not only the whole nation, but China will be watching as well.
4) His parents are attending the game at MSG (this might calm his nerves down actually).

At the very least, I'm predicting a shaky 1st quarter while he gets rid of the butterflies, then goes on to dominate Fisher.

He has no pressure, just look at how bad our team is right now

Yea all those factors dont bode well for us. I'm not expecting too much. He needs other guys on the team to contine to help. Novak has to hit some open 3s to open things up. Fields has to continue to be active moving around and getting put backs. He needs to know its not all on him. Then maybe he can relax and just play ball. There is a ton of pressure though, perfect storm for him to not haev a great performance. If he gives us 10 and 7 or 8 i'd be more than impressed. I really just want a win, and if Lin can help us get that with or without a monster scoring game, I'd be more than content.
