I just read that the Thunder have been connected to JR Smith. He is eligible to sign an NBA contract around February 20th. I don't think he fits the culture on this team one bit. He is a shoot first guy, and with a team with three strong shooters i don't think his shoot first mentality will work here.

I know the Thunder would like to add a guy to their second unit who can score other than Harden, and Cook doesn't really count because all he does is shoot wide-open threes.

I would prefer Wilson Chandler to Smith, but it looks like Chandler is going back to Denver.

Ivey would be the guy who gets cut if we bring anyone in.

It doesn't sound right does it?

Smith's personality doesn't fit the team, remember this is a player who Byron Scott kicked off the Hornets because he was so hard to handle, and George Karl who coached Gary Payton and Vincent Askew wants nothing to do with JR Smith's return to Denver. His scoring comes from the same position as James Harden and if you want to stretch Kevin Durant. Smith himself has been twittering about whether to go to NY or LA.

Presti is still the GM right? Then there is no way this happens.

Yeah, this doesn't make sense. We don't need another SG to put up points and our small ball line ups are some of our worst, so playing Harden/Durant at the 3/4 doesn't make sense.
