And risk a foul? No thanks. I'll settle for the half court miracle heave.

I agree. We are just going through the motions it seems. We have to do a better job closing down the paint and not let their guards do whatever they want. On offense, we have to have more ball movement and feed Dwight when he has early position in the paint. Besides that BS shot by Marvin, we are alright.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

It's so frustrating that nothing has changed.

Exactly.....I mean stan said pregame that we can't play the same way Atlanta plays and that's fine i can understand that we don't have any attackers in the starting lineup or creators.....But there is no reason why we can't change our style of play to a more run and gun offense...we've played that way before....why can't we play that way now? it's way more effective that this slow ass predictable offense we've been running for 3 seasons? i'm so tired of our offense/pace and just like you said VGO NOTHING'S CHANGED....same ole offense and stan's excuse is that we don't have the personnel to play any other way...not buying it :-? :-?

Dwight really should be dominating this game on the offensive end... He's facing zaza who can't block shots and won't foul him because there's no depth for them at that position this game. It really pisses me off when Dwight can't destroy nonathletic centers...

You guys realize that we're down by two, right? And that's only because of a lucky shot.

No reason to be all doom and gloom. Save that for an actual deficit.

We've only taken 9 3 pointers so far. In fact, the Hawks have taken more 3 pointers than us so far. Ball movement needs to be a lot better in the 2nd half.

Welcome to the Game Thread. Most of us live in the moment, so we get frustrated with every little thing.

Exactly. The replay was priceless.... slow motion of turk just staring and then drenched in shame. He should have at least stood tall with hands up.... Hand down, man down.

I think Jason richardson might be the worst defensive player in the league, I have never seen any player single handedly destroy a team defense like he does.

I mean we never ever switch on a pick n roll and yet we do it every time joe johnson gets the ball becasue J rich keeps losing him and we get stuck with either jameer covering JJ or both meer and J rich covering the same guy and leaving one of their guards open like on that three pointer by teague.

And Van Fatass is doing nothing about it. It's live and die by the 3.

Um Atlanta has shot more threes than we have and we are actually 4/9 from the arc so we are shooting a fine percentage from there. We are losing mainly due to that BS Marvin threw up but more importantly that we are not keeping their guards out of the paint. On offense, we need to pick up our energy and have some better ball movement which includes getting Dwight the ball when he has his man sealed in the paint.

Not really the point....the reason why there are people that's a bit down is because Atlanta is playing us the same way they did in the playoffs...And it still works....you'd think with a whole off-season plus lockout time Stan could think something new up but it's more of the same that is what i don't understand.....How is it for 3+ seasons we've played the same way with little to no new plays/sets....You would think a coach every year would add something to the offense to keep things fresh but man it literally the same old same.....

This is the type of game where Dwight needs to dominate. If Dwight can't get the best of Zaza in the 2nd half, then we're in trouble.

Not only that, they're doing it without Horford and Collins. Kind of sad, actually.
