when is whiteside going to play?

hes been sitting on the bench for a few weeks now since he got recalled from the dl. he should atleast go in the game for 3 minutes. give him a few minutes a game and let him see what its like. baby steps...
once they see progress put him in longer.

anybody have info on whiteside?

Is he dressed every night or inactive? I havent seen him on the bench yet.

From my understanding he is inactive. What this means is he is free to practice with the team and learn the system with the guys, but not play in a game. Most likely they wanted him to grasp and learn Smart's system, and he is probably valuable in practice as a shot block threat for the other guys. Once he gets system down and is no longer a practice asset he or Tyler will be sent back down to D league barring a team injury.
