I was laughing at this part pretty hard. It's so true. It's like we have pee-wee guys teaching them how to bring the ball up court and learn to dribble.

The thing is we have to ball handlers on the bench in Ish and Wafer...

Ish Smith isn't the savior to this team. He is terrible on defense, and fouls way too often. I was impressed the first game, 2nd game was eh. First game he was good but was just hacking. Wafer I am impressed with but he isn't a PG. You just don't throw a SG into a PG spot and say play PG. Even though I WOULD LOVE to see Wafer play PG in or 2 games...

on what planet should duhon, davis, and qrich be getting 60+min a game, 60? that is completely uncalled for, thats a joke, this team is failing to score points, this team has failed to score over 90 points in 11 games this year, and you still don't attempt to make changes when the game is not working, you do the same thing over and over and over again, you don't even try to play the quickest guys on the team

we played a 53 minute game and failed to score 88 points (again) and you run the same dud lineup with duhon-q-davis, no wonder why we cant score, at some point you need to go out of your comfort zone and change it up, make a damn adjustment during the games already.

hedo is gassed, he needs to rest, anyone watching the game of basketball can see that, bench him, and enough with duhon, we have the worst production from our point guards in the league (dead last in points, 25th in assist), and dudu is craptastic, at least give ish a few minutes, whats the worst that can happen? he gets stuffed, turns it over, bounces the ball of his head, fails to reach half court, gets burned on defense, cant make a shot, scores 2 points? hey that might be an improvement, maybe use clark and wafer for energy? or do you wanna complain about energy and not make a change>?

Wow... the founder of QRO is saying don't play Q rich a whole lot? 8-) anyway again +infinity.

I completely agree. It's just a sad state of affairs when we're begging for Von Wafer or Earl Clark to save the day.

I don't care what the matchups are, or if JJ wasn't shooting well, but the guy needs to be in the game down the stretch in games like this. Decision making becomes big, and JJ sits while we lose the game on an absolutely mindboggling, shockingly bad shot. And that's not even mentioning the predictable fail at the freethrow line. It should say something that I felt lucky as heck that he managed to make one, so that we'd still have a chance if they made theirs.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Soooo...... try Ish........ why do we continue with the same crap..... CHANGE the **** UP!!!!! why do we have to stay EXACTLY the SAME?!?!?!?

At the very least, we should be playing Wafer instead of Duhon. He's not a PG, but he can get in the lane and he's already shown he's willing to dump the ball off to Dwight if his shot isn't there. That's not an ideal set up, but Duhon is doing nothing for this team as a PG.

I agree.

This whole thing is becoming redundant....We have the same exact problem we've had for 3 seasons...Van Gundy seems to be convinced that all our problems ties to Defense.....he probably has all the stats that can tell us that is our problem....but i don't see it that way....we just can't score...it was the same thing in the playoffs last year....we'd hold them under 90 but we'd be under 80 lol....we have to hit 11-13 3's every game to win it seems....Also if you notice in our offense we barely get any easy baskets......

I give up on this offense and the way our rotations are set....Stan is never going to change anything unless god forbid there is an injury.....it sucks too because i believe we have guys on our bench that can actually contribute and give us energy every night......kinda sad in a way

Thing is we just resigned jrich and what a slap in the face it would be to bench him in favor of Wafer. JJ is a good player, but we have a logjam in that spot. And Ish is quick no doubt but he is tiny and not a good shooter. He is no Jeremy Lin lol.

As long as Hedo was out of the game I would've been fine with anything.

Stan's problem is that he is too set on playing "normal" "traditional" basketball.
He wont play rookies becasue they dont know the system, he wont play ish smith becuase he doesnt know the system, he wont change the rotation even if it means were gonna have stretches with duhon Q rich and davies on the floor.

And what bothers me the most about it is that when he was forced to get creative great things happend to this team: battie got injured, he moved rashard lewis to the 4 and it worked out great for us.

we had problems at the 2, he started courtney lee and we got a great starter.

And now he was forced to move anderson to the starting lineup with davis being new to the system and ryan became our second best player.

Just look at the lin situation, this is the nba, wher every one on a roster can play, there are countless examples of players steping up after an injury and emerging as legit starters to all start caliber players.
Thats why its beyond me, why he wont play wafer over Q or harper over davis(even just as the backup 4).

Yep, our defense has always been top 5. that's why we all wanted, and, still do, a second scorer.

No they aren't. The fact is our offense is killing us not our defense, same thing as last year. When Joe Johnson keeps matching up with Jameer Nelson, we are going to get cooked. We need a better PG, better than Ish Smith.

Lakers can't guard Lin so they put Barnes on him.

Lin blows by him to the basket for 2.
