Great news for doc.end

Schalke will send Jan Moravek to Augsburg till the end of the season.

Should help him get some playing time, which would certainly help the czech national team.

Oh, and Felix Magath is buying like a mad man again this winter. There should be about eight new players for Wolfsburg, while he send quite a few of his own players down to the 2nd team and ruined all their market value.

BTW: We will take one guy from Wolfsburg on loan. It's 19 year old midfielder Tolga Cigerci(currently German under 19 international), who played some matches in the first Bundesliga as "the idiot with the umbrella" aka Steve McLaren was still coaching them.
Magath never gave him a chance after boycotting his wish to be transferred to us last summer. We'll get him till 2013 and also receive an option to buy him, worth reportetly 5 mil euros, in 2013.
We'll most likely buy Alexander Ring, a 20 year old Finish international midfielder from HJK Helsinki of the Finish league, as well for about 1 million euros.

Great for Morávek I guess, but bad timing, he was looking forward to play czech team (Pilsen) in Europe league. I wonder how the positive doping test is going to evolve, it was unexpected and would be a shame if the games against Schalke would be even less competitive (Bystroň, starting centre defender is accused)

Magath will get a new bunch of Czechs to destroy anyway.

Some more news, regarding my team.

We'll lose our best player this summer.
Marco Reus will transfer to Borussia Dortmund for 17.5 mil euros.

We'll also lose central midfielder Roman Neustaedter, who'll most likely join Bayer Leverkusen.

Not sure how that will work chemistry wise during the second half of the season.

The 2nd half of the Bundesliga just started yesterday.

Gladbach hosted Bayern and won 3-1, to close the gap between those two teams to one point.
Goalscorers:
1-0 Reus
2-0 Herrmann
3-0 Herrmann
3-1 Schweinsteiger

We hardly gave them any chances to score and scored on mostly beatiful counter attacks. Though, the 1-0 was a pretty big mistake by Neuer, who misshandled the ball and kicked it right to Reus, who scored from about 22 meters on an empty goal.

What a douche Suarez is.

Declining the handshake with Evra on purpose.
I've read that both teams got into a fight during halftime and the police had to seperate them.

BTW: The Bundesliga is pretty top heavy this season. After 20 games, there were only 4 teams(Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke and Gladbach) with a positive goal difference.
After winning 5-0 against Hertha Berlin today, Stuttgart has joined those four with a positive goal margin.

Dortmund(46 points) is still leading the league, after beating Leverkusen 1-0. Bayern(44 points) is second, after beating Kaiserslautern 2-0 and Gladbach(43 points) is third, after winning the top match of the day against Schalke(41 points) with 3-0.

German table

Today the semifinals of the German Cup have been drawn as well and those are the matchups.

Greuther Fuerth(2nd Bundesliga) vs Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Moenchengladbach vs Bayern Munich

Fixed. Why would you want to shake hands with somebody that got you banned for 8 matches and on eggshells for the rest of your career, regardless if you were in the wrong? Evra grabbing his arm and Ferdinand refusing to shake to stand up for his boy looked ridiculously childish. Then Evra celebrating like they just won the title all around Luis while he's just trying to mind his business and go the locker room is blatantly unsportsmanlike IMO. Evra needs to get a clue and **** off, Suarez isn't going to be your buddy.

Don't think so.

I can understand him not wanting to be friendly with Evra and still being mad at him, but with the perception of the media etc. he should've just sucked it up, shaked his hand and play the game.

Evra's not better, doing that victory dance in front of him, but that still doesn't make Suarez anything else but a douche.

**** the media, it's none of their business. He stuck to his principles and that's what he should have done, if he shook his hand for the media it would have been insincere. Suarez got jobbed on this accusation and had to take it for fear of further repercussions b/c they're out to get him and it's well-known that Evra has insulted him also. If Suarez is a douche than Evra is just as douchey, that's how I feel about it.

I can't believe he had the audacity to say that Suarez doesn't deserve to play for Liverpool, I've never heard something like that in all my years of sports. He really thinks he's the bee's knees, lol.

Lining up and shaking hands before the game is silly anyway. They used to make us do that in my U-8 Bball league. It is the emptiest of empty gestures. The NBA does it right, if guys want to say good luck/shake hands/hug/whatever before the game they can, if they hate each others guts then its not difficult to avoid.

Yeah, I don't really understand the need to shake hands before games.

Though, it's not something that's happening everywhere. In Germany, for example, that's only being done for games played in the German Cup(not happening during Bundesliga matches) and during international matches.

BTW: The NBA guys all give each other a high five or stuff before games.

Hey Fats, How do you feel about AVB getting sacked?

Image

I think Chelsea may live to regret this. Cole, Lampard, and Terry will probably be gone or declining significantly in a couple of years and AVB will probably be winning Seria A with Inter or something.
