You all probably have noticed this, and I do give some blame to Kobe for forcing shots, but these are the two reasons why the Lakers suck:
-No one can score off Kobe being doubled, so he gets doubled so often by opposing teams that know we have no one on the team that can hit outside shots except for Kapono and G-Lock (excluding Kobe). This makes Kobe force shots.
-Can't defend opposing PG's driving the lane (obvious).
I'm sure management will fix these two problems before the deadline, and we'll become a much more dangerous team, ala 2009 with Ariza.

Would the Hornest go for Walton and a late first for Ariza. I would love to see Ariza back home again.

I don't know. I don't mind too much. Kobe scoring 30 a night seems like a personal thing.

i think we need to accept the fact that no team is gonna take walton off our hands..we either wait for his contract to expire or amnesty his ass

Very true
But Brown's offense is a bad fit for our personel. We don't take advantage of our size enough.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

because teams know this is our strength. you play defense to limit an opponents strengths and force them to do things they don't want to do.
like shoot 3 pointers and long 2s.
its really not that hard to sink into the paint and double off of poor shooters.
its not the offense, its the personnel
