Send Wes to D-league.

Post#1 » by NewWolvesOrder » Sun Feb 12, 2012 4:53 am

Kahn needs to send him a strong message. Make him a D-league player for the rest of the year. It will give him a chance to work on his game in a non pressure situation. He will get more touches there to shoot and drive to the basket. Evaluate him again in training camp. Of course, if there's a decent trade scenario ship his ass out asap.

Can we send Ridnour, Barea and Webster to the D-league while we are at it too?

I don't think they want to slow the growth of the other players already there.....

Would Heat trade Miller for Wes? He's got shorter smaller contract after all.

I don't think Beasley has been so bad since he has been back. He hasn't been stellar but he will grab boards and bring some offense. He hasn't had many 1-10 games or anything either. I can live with 3-9 here and there.

Yup, I think Beasley has been alright since his return. Definitely not spectacular, but a whole hell of a lot better than our other piece of crap wing players

you have some real irrational hate towards beasley. Every time he has a good game your nowhere to be found and then a bad game where he hardly gets any touches you want him in the d league. Did he screw your girl or something?

Beasley looks like an allstar if your comparing him to Wes. Beas has been ok helping not hurting the team. The same cant be said about Wes or Luke (Granted Luke being forced to play sg is the real issue)

Luke doesn't need to go to the D league, he just needs to play backup PG, which is what he is. Evidently he needs to go to another team as he hasn't had that role in his Wolves tenure.

I don't see how this does any good. Sending Johnson away does nothing to help us find a better SG.

It may send him a message that he must start workng and improving his game or he will be out of the league quickly. He can find his rhythm there, get enough shots to get his stroke back, work on his slashing.

And keeping him here does nothing to improve our chances to find a better SG.

Maybe, but there's not a whole of precedent for players benefitting from being sent to the D-league.

Just leave his ass in the D league until he gets a triple double to help with his confidence or lack there of.

Then you call him up to the dominate the big boys....totally RidicuWes!

Actually I think we need to move him soon as his stock is sinking lower every month...much like Flynn and Brewer before him.

Wes needs to change his number to 00 to more accurately reflect his impact.

It's beginning to become unjustifiable to continue to start Wes. I'm hoping to see either Michael or Martell start sometime very soon, with a couple of DNP-CDs for Wes. Then bring him back slowly off the bench. He needs a total reset to have any shot of contributing.
