M. Miller trade
Miller for Wes Johnson.
Wesley only has this and next year gauranteed at around 4 mil. Basically it's a salary dump for Miami and Wolves get a vet shooter.

Now that Miller is hitting threes, people are asking about him. Go figure.

Re: M. Miller trade
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? Is there anything Wes does better than Miller? I honestly don't think so. He's also shorter and only makes like $1M less than Miller per year. So we'd still be in the luxury tax. No offense, but this is the worst trade idea I've seen on RGM since I joined. This makes no sense whatsoever for us. None. PEACE.

You know, I'd trade Miller for Pek, then split Miller's minutes between JJ and Terrel. Minny would be stupid to make this deal though. Pek is more valuable than Miller alone IMO. PEACE.

Re: M. Miller trade
Minny isnt crazy lol. Pek is playing like a top 3 center right now. Hes avg 15.6 and 9.6 his last five games. Now that miller our best bench player by far and hes shooting well i wouldn't trade him at all. Darko would be an upgrade to Joel but i cant see what Milly would want from us and they need a sg bad.

Re: M. Miller trade
I might consider Beas for Miller but not Wes
...
Though Mike is playing well now so not even open to the idea.

Re: M. Miller trade
the thing with MM, i really like him - but from a roster building point of view - this team really needed a decent center, much more then bench wings like MM and Battier. im glad we have them and they are good players but in the summer of the decsion, Riely should have taken a more balanced approach and worry about PG and C BEFORE getting Miller, Battier and even JJ.
oh well, it is what it is. PG i kinda ok for now...and im parying Big Dex will step up for us.

Re: M. Miller trade
Take your pick of anyone outside the Big 3 + UD for Pekovic.
Wes Johnson is awful and it's not like he isn't getting a chance to showcase his (Lack off) talent.
Even a guy like James Jones in place of Wes might be an upgrade for Minnesota.

Re: M. Miller trade
I have to say that while I agree that the trade is bad for us, I get the feeling that Minny fans would say the same. I've posted the trade on the trade board, to see what reactions it gets.

$4,006,080
$4,285,560
VS
$5,400,000
$5,800,000
$6,200,000
$6,600,000
Johnson sucks and Miller is better but his contract lasts 4 more years. Why would the Twolves agree to add that?
This would pretty much be only a salary dump for us (when its too late to dump salary) so no point in us doing it now.
Its still a much worse deal for them because of Miller's contract.
Both teams would say no now but the Wolves would (should) say no even if we threw in a first rounder.
Most teams get more than that for eating an extra two years of a bigger than MLE deal. The fact that its 2 for 4 years makes it even worse for them.

Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.
