in giving gifts, would you rather get an "AWWWW! THIS IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE IT!" reaction or "AWWWW! YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT I WANT! I LOVE IT!"?

bear with me. this only happens once a year so help out a brother from another mother and father.
