Suns Record at All Star Break - (13-21)

That's a pessimistic and unrealistic prediction. I can see them winning every one of those games except @ LA. I'm going to say 3-3 in that stretch, to be 15-19 at break

Considering that all of those teams besides the Lizards are better teams than us, I think it's realisitic that we could lose 5 of the next 6. and with the way we've played against the Hornets, Raptors, Nets, and Bobcats, I'm not entirely sure that our game against Washington is a guaranteed win. I'm sure we'll at least win one of those games, two at the most.

I see little evidence that GS is better than the Suns. They are neck and neck with us in the standings and their schedule has been front loaded with home games. Tonight was their 27th game, and 16th at home. Yep, GS has played 9 road games thus far. The Suns? 16.

For all those saying fire Alvin Gentry well, lets put it this way he is like a lamb to the slaughter in that at the end of the season he will be fired. Unfortunately that is a very small improvement when you only have one core player on the team if Nash does not resign. Lets hope Sarver stupid and believes he will loose a lot of money once NAsh is gone so he he decides to sell the Suns now that would be an enormous improvement.

What? Who the heck would buy the Suns if Nash leaves? The league can't even sell the Hornets, and they aren't still in debt like the Suns are. I don't think that Sarver has covered the $200 million debt that he bought from Colangelo. And Gentry sucks, he should have never been hired as head coach in the first place. He moved up, just like every head coach before him except Poter. That goes all the way back to Cotton's second coaching stint.

Ugh I really hope we don't win anymore for the rest of this month. I'm tired of this team giving me hope and then taking it away a day or 2 after.

Please tank Phoenix!!!

GS has had tougher competition compared to us though. and It's not like playing at home would do much better for us. The way we've been playing here is unacceptable.

Yea. Remember that 4th quarter Dragic had against the Spurs two years ago in the playoffs where put up 23 pts in the 4th QTR alone?

Well Telfair had a similar night for us and we squeaked by with a win.

OMG, no wonder Gentry kept sticking with him over Price. He's our new savior :)

I think shooting a combined 5-25 (20%) from 3 might have had something to do with the loss.

We hit 30% (8-25) and we win. Simple.

That's is horrible shooting from the outside. It's like we got 'Laker syndrome'

well, well, well ....

It's not much fun watching this team. I can't bring myself to hope they lose, but the games all seem ... meaningless. At best we can make the playoffs and get bounced back out in 4 straight.

But it is what it is ....

some questions: why is Robin Lopez running madly from under the basket out to the 3-pt line, flapping his arms at a shooter who has already shot the damn ball?

Is he delivering a warning "for next time"?

Telfair - why?

I imagine Nash going home at nights and sitting in the dark, drinking and muttering

I just don't understand why Lopez shrinks himself down so much when he is trying to make a move on the block. He loses a whole foot.
Telfail, is really hard to explain. He does absolutely nothing for either side of the ball. When he was in the game, the offense kept pushing the shot clock. The play often started with seven second left. Price had similar troubles, but was ten time better on the defensive end, and his hustle was great. I still don't know why Hill isn't matched up with him to help run the second unit.
Chilldress was awesome in my opinion. He always seemed to find a way to get his mitts on the ball on both ends of the court.
The only thing I can come up with is that Gentry is trying to lose games. :(

Yes, Childress was getting rebounds nobody else on the court could make. His effort was incredible.

Gentry stuck too much with Morris too. He was not playing good and kept shooting from long range. And he got too many minutes in the end.

I think Gentry went with Morris so long in the 4th because Frye couldn't guard David Lee. Lee went off for 28/12 last night, and Frye had the primary assignment of guarding him.

Also Morris scored all 10 of his points in the 4th.
