tugs, I hope you got your gf something you know she likes over something you think she might find beautiful. You can surprise her with the latter on a day that isn't corny, when she's least expecting it. But for VDay, you should focus more on the more on what you know she likes since it is, after all, a 'holiday' to show someone you love them. That's done through the little things.

Darko's V-day advice. Hit them up a day early with the gifts and dinner. V-Day is the busiest restaurant day of the year and it's way harder to impress on the actual day. This way you've given on the day before and can bask in your glory all fake holiday long
