Brandon Roy had no interest in Charlotte and he refused to work out here IIRC. I hope he has a great retirement

The thing that bothers me about the Ammo drafting, is that everywhere I read, he was more than holding his own in workouts. So, either he played out of mind during predraft workouts, teams aren't that good at evaluating talent, or something else led to the demise of his career. I'm leaning towards the latter since he tore it up in Summer League and looked fairly good until that injury.

One on one workouts don't simulate full five on five mechanics very well. Morrison did a good job shooting the ball but even in workouts people noticed he was essentially a nothing on defense. Morrison is a cautionary tale that the athleticism and length difference from college to pro is a game changer for some players especially those that are not good athletes (e.g., Morrison).

BD I think you hit the nail on the head. I think that Ammo just didn't have enough mental toughness. This kid was lights out in college. Why would he not be at least as good as Kyle Korver in the pros? As someone said he did his thing in workouts. He performed well enough that we picked him over Gay (2nd biggest mistake in bobcats history) who had actually said he wanted to play here. People need to stop. Everybody wants to give Jordan heck, because of the Wizards. Guess what ! Mike has been gone about ten years, but last I checked the Wizards still stank.

speaking of ammo... i honestly believe that he would be our best small forward about right now (at least if he came back playing like he was playing in europe earlier in the year). hell, his 38% that he put up during his rookie season would be better than half our team.
