I said it when we lost those sloppy games, but this is a team that is supremely confident in its abilities. I think we all hear it when a guy like Chris Bosh continues to repeat that "we're the best team in the league". This team doesn't think it, it knows it. We get mad because they act like the reigning champs, taking possessions and games off, and coasting on raw talent. However, I feel so comfortable with them taking the longview like this, because it means they are preparing for the real battle, in the postseason.

A guy like Bosh never knew what it meant to be on a contender, and now he sounds like a guy who's won it and understands what it takes to be the best. I don't know about you guys, but that fills me with the utmost confidence when I tune in to the games. I know that win or lose, they are 100% committed to doing whatever it takes to get over the hurdles of last season.

With a couple exceptions, we have played great against the good teams. When we face a contender, we've played top-notch ball. The Denver game was a bad gameplan, but that's the exception, not the rule. I like what we just did on this b2b2b. It won't get the hype it deserved, but we just blewout all 3 teams ON THE ROAD. We didn't get any help on one of the worst b2b2b's any team has this season. The Hawks, Bucks and Pacers b2b2b? And to emerge with 3 straight blowouts? Yeah...I think we ready. The real question is, is the rest of the league ready? :D

Destiny and dynasty awaits this team. I'm convinced. PEACE.

I was confident when LeBron said they could beat any team in the league in a 7 game series last year. Yeah... about that....

They are on the right path, and when they look good they look fantastic, they didn't look this good last year even when they were at their peak. The set plays and ball movement and every bench guy getting involved is good. Battier and Miller and Cole... didn't have that last year. Then UD.

Better ball club.

This team can only defeat itself... :| I hope Rio is okay, we need him. I guess this means Harris can be activated if Rio has to miss some games.

I'll say this, I think we look like a much better team this year than last, much much deeper with Shane and Cole and Miller/UD healthy and Chalmers improving...and the ball movement is better, and the off-ball player movement is better, and guys are obviously getting out on the floor better...all that being said...

At our peak last year, I think we played better D than we have at any point this season. Our offense has already eclipsed last season's, and I read somewhere that supposedly offense is what they work on almost exclusively, so that makes some sense.

I can't wait to see what this team looks like with time off to really gameplan and practice for extended periods on both sides of the ball.

Agreed. With more practices eventually, more communication and growth, the defense will eventually fall into place.

I'm starting to wonder if they have recently been working on defense after the Orlando game... they look more focused on that end. Even LBJ being more aggressive defensively. More swarming and trying to close out too.

Has bosh been off since Wade came back or what? He seems to be shooting at a really low rate, he was beating when it was just him and LeBron :/

Bosh had a good game... I forgot against who. Also had a good rebounding game against... Atlanta? I don't remember. But the vast majority of the games.... Bosh has been bad.

What's weird is Bosh is getting less playing time, same as Wade, I hope it was just for the road trip because Bosh is a rhythm type of guy. But he's just missing the shots he usually makes. This long drought of his makes me worried. His touches though... lol. I guess when they see he doesn't have it going they don't bother to give him the ball. Understandable. Not like it was needed this game anyway.

Ya he's been off lately his shot isn't falling as much, but he also isn't getting as many attempts. But with Wade/LeBron going off nightly it seems, it won't be getting that many touches anyway. It'd be nice if he made the most out of his touches. At the start of the 2nd he sometimes is on the court alone, he should be making the most of that and making some shots.

Either way this team is in a great groove and I hope they keep it up. They have shown what they are capable of when they play smart, and fast. Hope these next couple of nights off don't slow them down.

I don't think Bosh is a guy that can just turn it on though. For example like in the situation you presented if he's alone in the 2nd, but had a bad first he has trouble get it going even if the touches go through him. A lot of time it feels like there is too many wasted possession trying to get X player involve. *Not saying this is Heat exclusive I feel this way about certain players on every team*

I actually prefer it if Bron/Wade didn't always try to get him going. If he has it going then of course get Bosh some touches, but if it's just one of those off night then so be it. Let him figure it out on his own, and not try to get him started.

Tonight’s win over the Pacers is the first time since 1979, where a team wins three-consecutive road games—three nights in a row.

A bit of history, the Miami Heat is also the first team since the 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks to win back-to-back-to-back road games by double digits.

How about this bet.

I bet that the Heat could score ZERO points in the 4th quarter and still win this game.

If it wasn't for those stupid Howard techs, this would've been the case. Still, though, would've gone to overtime even with those extra two points. Down 32 going in, they scored 32.

Great bbb road trip. Wade really impress me last night when he jumping is on IMO he's dangerous. IMO that shot is the key for heat to when it all. Also Lebron cleanup around the basket is great to see. Really nice win for the heat.

Just watched the game on my League Pass and it was another good win for us. Does anybody remember those "without Wade" posts and Wade trade ideas? Yeah I'm laughing at those tools too.

Well, that was an impressive defensive effort and any time you win the last game of a back-to-back-to-back is always nice. Especially when it happens to be the case that you won all three.

They were absurdly ridiculous then and now.

A team like the Knicks getting exponentially better without Melo is a situation which should be getting that attention. Not a team that has LeBron and Bosh on it when you take one of the stars off. Hell, even the Bulls being 6-2 without Rose isn't brought up as much as that stretch without Wade was.

Great point. Especially the Knicks as they were straight up bad with Melo, and have won 6 straight without him.

But the Bulls winning without Rose confirms my belief he was not deserving of the MVP. Oh well.
