Jordan Crawford's +/- is +24, lol.

1) Young
2) Wall
3) Vesely

McGee had a nice game but it was clear Ves was the straw that stirred the drink in the second half.

Seriously though, Nick Young was unquestionably the guy today. He killed the Blazers spirit time and time again with his accuracy from beyond the arch. Anytime the Blazers mounted a run Young had an answer.

POTG == Nick Young.

Wall set up Young. Young hit amazing shots, which opened the floor up for Wall. Co-MVPs. The other 3 options were good as well! Even Crawford.

How bad is Portland defensively? I had no idea.

As much as I wanted to go with Wall, I had to go with Young, he just made to many big threes. His threes were just stat padders, they were the three when we needed to put an end to a Portland run or put the lead pack up to 12 or 13.

1. Young
2. Wall
T-3. Crawford and Ves

Honorable mentions:

McGee and Booker (yeah his stat line wasn't gaudy, but he was old reliable as usual)

Washington suddenly got better. Tonight was more about the Wizards really being good, hitting shots, using their length and speed against the Blazers.

I think the Wizards can beat teams that don't bully them or run good PnR. Teams like OKC and POR that want to run will have a long night against this team.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Wall, but easily debatable. Young was neck and neck in opening up the lead and answering whenever Blazers tried to make a move. Vesely, McGee, Crawford also good games.

Wall. His offense was just as amazing as Nick's, except he also played defense.

This is a tough one, John did manage 29 on a TS% of 80.8 and nine assists, plus Ray Felton did a whole lot of nothing all game whereas Nick's cover Batum was fabulous. Granted that's not really fair to Nick because Felton has been awful all year and Batum is really good, but still. John also didn't manage to out-rebound Nick for once.

Still I'm going to give it to John for the defense and because I'm still working out some exasperation at the wailing and gnashing of teeth over his season that's apparently no longer fashionable.

nate FTW

Nick with 7/8 from 3. That'll get you POTG game most every night.
Savor those.

I gave it to Nick, but Wall and Crawford were a close second.

Wall played better defense, and contributed more to the offense on great percentages. 29/9 > 35.

Not a big deal though.

The moral of the story is that PPG doesn't just get you fat stacks of cash, it also gets you PotG honors.
