Orlando's team offense is vastly improved compered to the time these teams last played. If Orlando plays good defense as well, I expect a win.

The key matchup is clearly AI vs. Hedo. Turkoglu plays poorly on offense when he gives up energy on defense. Coach Man is going to need to go to Richardson-1 off of the bench early and often. I also expect some Redick at the 2 and Richardson-2 at the 3.

The line for this game is only Orlando with -2.5. But the computers convincingly like Orlando with an AccuScore of 62%.

Winning home games is the key to a high seed. Orlando really needs to win this. And this is thus a huge coaching test for Coach Man.


My prediction: a good 8 point win.

Good thread Nem! The psyche of our team has changed dramatically since the last time we played these guys. The chemistry is slowly getting better and the one thing I am appreciating is that we are not quitting at all. Would really like to see Dwight bouncing back as he is in a funk offensively, but he really needs to set the tone on the boards and defensively in the paint.

I want to see us play hard and play smart. We are a very good team when we play with high energy and take care of the basketball. If we do those two things, then we will get this win. LET'S GET IT!!!

we match up pretty well against them, except for the possible hedo vs iggy thing. iggy is in the mold of other hedo killers such as josh smith or luol deng.

defensively, i would assign jrich to Iggy if i were the coach and offensively hope that our wings would deliver and making it hard on the sixers to slack off of covering d12 and stopping magic by being physical with hedo and jameer.

a long front court could work well with hedo, clark and dwight sharing the floor for extended minutes.

I just wanna see good games from Jameer, J-Rich, and, Hedo. those 3 have to be more consistent in order for us to do anything. we know Dwight is gonna bring it every night. and, Anderson has proven he can produce consistently, so, I have no doubt they will show up every game. but, the other 3 have to be there for Dwight and Ryan.

Richardson-2 on AI would lead to Hedo guarding Jodie Meeks. That is an on-paper easier assignment for Hedo, but creates the ability of Meeks to drive the lane. But this could be something for Coach Man to consider.

But as I said above, I see the real solution as getting Richardson-1 some minutes to try to tire out AI.

Good GT Nem, lets notch up a victory here, we didn't have our starting backcourt last game, now, they are playing decent, and i def would like to see Clark get some burn here against this athletic team. i think Magic will pull this out in a close one. 88-85 ORL #teammagic
