If that were the case, then why the hell does Dwight even consider NJ anymore?
So they let Deron walk and sign Lin to be their PG =)
Lin keeps playing in NY and D12 goes to the Nets

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Imagine, a month from now, a Nash/JR Smith backcourt, with Jrich at the 3, and Hedo off the bench.
We need more talent, and athleticism in our backcourt, we need a REAL pg and a SG who can take people off the dribble.

If we were able to get that, there is little doubt in my mind that we would be contenders.
I'm a big JR Smith fan, wanted him here for a while, actually. The fact that he and Dwight are close is just a bonus, to me.

Authorities said Smith, behind the wheel of his parents' 2003 GMC Yukon Denali, drove around a car stopped at an intersection in Millstone and into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The collision threw Smith and Bell, who were not wearing seat belts, from the SUV. Smith sprained his left shoulder. Bell sustained massive head injuries. By the time his mother arrived at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, doctors told her he had no brain activity. Bell died two days later.

Nash
Smith
Turk OR Q OR Earl (b/c our 1/2 are weak defensively)
Anderson
Dwight
That's a team that can compete for the ECF with a great mix of scoring and defense. With JJ/Baby/Von coming off the bench all we need is a backup center and I think that team is ready to make a run.

Trade for Nash AND Robin Lopez to be backup C. Done.
