Utah Jazz = Best Home Court in the league

Post#1 » by BarneyGumble » Wed Feb 15, 2012 4:24 pm

Is there any doubt left? This season is the ultimate proof. There is no way this Jazz team is as good as their record. They've had a home-heavy schedule thus far.

Fans in Salt Lake City should be sharing in the players' payroll. They are a big, big reason why the Jazz teams have been so successful over the years, and they are literally carrying this team.

I agree the Jazz fans are one of the better groups in the league. I must admit though that in the last 5 years we have seen a decline in attendance as well as a decline in craziness. Okla City is now number one in fan craziness. Attendance has declined to the point that we are starting to look like the Sacramento Kings that use to sell out every game bc it was the only game in town but now we have become lackluster to the point if attendance gets worse there may not be a team in Utah in the future.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Whatever.....the Jazz are 6th in attendance this year, there is no risk of them ever moving. Right now they are averaging 65 fans less than last year - that's a number with very little significance (and it is higher than 2010, so.....). http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance

Where do people come up with this garbage?
The Jazz have been one of the top 10 in attendance for the past 20 yrs. The lowest they have been in the last 10 years was 10, the rest they were in the 5-6 range.
Look stuff up before you make stupid statements.

Jazz had a lot of easy home games where they played injured teams and they played a lot of home games back when Millsap wasn't tired. I think their much greater success is correlation and not causation for the most part.

lol OKC's crowd is overrated if you ask me. Jazz's would be infinitely better than that if they were that good and went to the WC Finals last year too.

It's cute how the OKC crowd doesn't sit until they score. But that gimmick always bugged me because it means the fans end up sitting after their team does something good, normally the opposite reaction you want.

I've said it before the OKC crowd doesn't deserve that team, they have no **** clue about basketball. I know some knowledgeable Seattle basketball fans and they are still pissed they moved the team.

Jazz fans are some of the best in the league, they deserve a Thunder-like quality team.

Well at least we still have a team, even though our owner is a tool.

You don't think Greggy boy being in charge had some reason why Jerry walked away.
