Lamb had a bounce back game.

Still torn on Barnes and Lamb. I think Lamb has the higher upside, but Barnes might be a more sure thing. He will be able to step into any team right away next year and score 15 PPG.

If you had the second overall pick, you have to take Andre Drummond, right? He's looked pretty good the last couple of times I've seen him. There's something there that has me intrigued.

Meanwhile, Barnes is having himself a good game.

I hope he doesn't declare this year if we get top 3. But I hope he declares if we get 4 - 7th pick.

Lamb is as close to a sure thing as there is in the draft at the wing position imo.

Andre Drummond imo seems destined to be a Bobcat. A perpetual loser who has no desirable intangibles, no real skills other then blocking the ball. He makes Bismack look like tim duncan. Does he have upside sure....he's got upside ooozing out his but, however I doubt he realizes 1/10 of what he could become and that's the problem.

He's got the size and skills. In 3-4 years of a pro training regimen and some good coaching he could be the best inside scorer in the NBA after Dwight. Like Derrick Favours you probably can't expect much out of his first two years. He's raw and not really NBA ready right now, he's mostly going through guys at the moment, and if he tries that in the NBA he's going to get stuffed and stripped.

I agree at the moment he is the clear #2, unless teams are really committed to a wing at that slot, or want a more sure thing in Robinson.

Was that a solid first step blow-by that I saw out of Barnes, didn't make the reverse.

+1.

I don't like the idea of being pressured to draft a player like Drummond because we won the #2 pick. Same thing happened with the Heat & Beasley. I'd much rather have Barnes.

I agree with the broadcaster, should have power it in and slammed it home lol. I think he picks his screens well from Henson or Zeller, good jabstep faking the right using henson's zeller as a shield then fakes back to the left that can get him enough space to blow by someone. He's not the one that blows by one on one so he's clever enough to use p&r to help him with that.

I have zero interest in any UNC so called prospect other then Harrison Barnes. Taking any of Marshall, Henson or Zeller even in the late lottery would be a mistake.

A Henson jumper is like a turnover. Marshall is way too one dimensional

Also being pressured to draft D12 will set our season backward because this kid is so NOT ready in the first 2 years (or even more)

DeMar and Lamb (he'll be 6'7" at least), or Barnes and someone like Monta Ellis (through trade) are jizz worthy starting wings.

I think it's weird that even thou Drummond might not be the best situation for us, we might be the best situation for him (maybe Detroit too). As, with Bargs, Amir, ED, and JVal he would be matched up with a good front court partner and have a slow integration. If he goes to Charlotte or NO and has to start and play 30 mins right away he's going to fail and get labeled a bust.

Drummond is Kwame Brown who can even get Black Jesus fired. However, if he were given the treatment of say an Andrew Bynum and coached by KAJ he has a shot at greatness like Bynum (when healthy).

I'll go out on a limb and predict either Leonard or Henson goes 2nd. I think Drummond drops, but an athletic C replaces him. In the case of Henson, I think the idea of a "guaranteed" 10/10/2 and a play that helps immediately is something that would appeal to GMs that don't want to get fired. NOH needs to impress Gordon so they probably go older prospect at 2 or lower. And he's like made to be the PF beside Monroe or Cousins. DET and SAC are also two teams who don't really want to wait 3 years for a prospect

I think Henson is the coyote for stealing 2nd or 3rd overall
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change
