As poorly as the Wizards shot tonight, this would be a two point game or a lead if they went to the glass tonight. Of course, that's easier said than done when McGee gave up at least 5 offensive rebounds tonight and Singleton grabbed one board in 16 minutes. Nick had that big one rebound in 32 minutes. These guys need to spend the offseason in the weight room.

why are these guys still in the game? They can get injuried and you just arent saving them for the rest of the trip anyways. We can beat Utath on Friday but Witt is going to see that we lose by killing these guys now in a game that clearly wasnt winnable late

Singleton showed so much potential in the beginning of the season. Now, I have trouble justifying spot minutes for the kid...

Fourth quarter has been ugly on both ends. Defensively, slow getting out to shooters, failing to rotate, rebounding has been beyond bad. Offensively, too much hero ball and fumbled passes.

McGee is beyond dead tired. Seraphin is seraphin and besides that handicap the refs give him no consideration (his moving pick call im not even sure was a moving pick). hate to say it but we really need baltche back (as a backup center).

singleton has really regressed.

vesely was the only one trying at the end there.
Until Grunfeld goes there is no rebuild.

Singelton has regressed sooooo much. He cant make anything. I thought he was one of the best defensive players in the league earlier in the year and now he's just average at best at that now. I still think we might should see how it looks with JV starting at the 3.

Again, neither Shard or Sinelton have stretched the floor there anyways. If not then maybe we should go with Evans. I dont agree playing vets over young guys but Singelton's an older rookie and he's not going to be a major piece in our future anyways so why not? Give me JV 1st but Ill settle for Evans

Good tank loss. They had nothing left in the second half after good win the night before. You knew Crawford, Young and Wall were not going to shoot as well as they did against Portland.

God no. I'll take my chances with Seraphin and Vesely at C at this point. Besides, Turiaf will be back soon.

Ves is a tweener right now. He matches up against some small forwards and I think others are too quick. And then he's just too weak against a bruiser like Blake. At this point, it really doesn't matter if he plays him at the 3 or 4. Evans is horrible. There's a reason he didn't play tonight. He's done as is Mason. They might as well have made those guys assistant coaches.

IDK about that. Evans sucked in the last game he played, maybe the last 2 but he's not done. Mason is done but Evans still has some game left

Don't like Singleton's game right now. He's good defender off the ball and playing passing lanes, but doesn't really add much else. Doesn't rebound, can't shoot and his confidence is shot. I'd have him, Ves, Booker, Seraphin, Mack, Wall, even Crawford hit the weight room, the summer league and get acquainted with new coaches over the summer. Obviously Vale still needs to get stronger as well. That's the whole key with him.

Outside of the first 2-3 weeks of the season, Singleton has flat out sucked. Even defensively he's struggled to hold his own. Wouldn't be surprised to see Rashard take back his starting role soon.

Singleton has hit the rookie wall. I don't like his shot selection especially. He needs to focus on the corner 3's and stop trying to force the long 2's or longer 3's from the wings or the top of the key. He also needs to better use his athleticism when he's going to the rim. He plays so much smaller then his measurables on offense.

I'm definitely for giving Vesely a trial run starting at the 3.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Perfect example for why Nick Young is never going to be the answer for this team.

1 free throw on 18 shots, and 1 assist and rebound in 35 minutes of play.

You simply cannot win with guys like that.

This game was poorly officiated.

The officiating reminded me of the Lakers vs the Kings in 2002.

Blake Griffin pushed McGee in the back in key sequence. He got the rebound and two. Next sequence down he got a dunk. The momentum shifted. Meanwhile, Young got hit on a couple shots and no call. Wall got hit on at least three drives no call. The refs anticipated calls all game. Untouched fouls went against the Wizards. Bledsoe shot right into Seraphin's hand and a foul was called. Griffin, Williams, and Butler all got to the line and got free throws from hurling into Wizards. I saw a phantom offensive foul when the Wizards were rallying.

Ron Garretson, Bennie Adams, Courtney Kirkland refereed this game.

Honestly, the officiating upset me more than anything the Wizards didn't do or did wrong. I know it sounds absurd, but I think the refs really missed too many calls for it to have been random.

CP3 and Blake are the biggest floppers in the league. Can't stand it.

+1

I officially cannot stand Blake Griffin now. He argues calls that are BS. He flops. He pushes in the back. He flails his arms on shots.

I HATE THE CLIPPERS!

The only thing that disappoints me is that the final score is not indicative of the tenor of the game. The Wizards were just as good as the Clippers tonight until the 4th quarter. It took horrible officiating and an unbelievably awful shooting from Young and Wall to give the Clippers the edge. We also suffered from a really, really bad matchup situation with Blake Griffin. Booker is the only guy on the roster who can guard him. Everyone else is just too weak. Blatche would definitely have made a difference tonight.

Would be nice if Nick had some penetrating ability on nights like this. He's such a good free throw shooter its a crime that he doesn't average more attempts. THAT IMO is more of a reason why he's not worth what he asked for than his lack of assists and rebounds
Sit back and watch WALL WORK!! >:-)
