I remember that team very well. Legler shot .522 from three for the season, which would explain a lot of the astronomical eFG. (It was also Brent Price's best year - he shot .462 from three.)

remember that team as well. Didn't 77 lead the league in FG% that year?
Easily the best Bullets/Wiz team of the 90s. 'Team of the future'.

Yep, Muresan led the league in both 95-96 and 96-97. in 95-96, he had a PER of 21.0 and a DReb of 24.7%. Curse you Billy Crystal!!!!! :upset:

Technically, "Team of the Future" was applied to the '96-97 team that played the Bulls so tough in the Playoffs. Problem was, that team had already lost Brent Price & Jim McIlvaine to ridiculous FA deals, and effectively lost Legler due to his injury. They did get Webber back from an injury that cost him most of the '96 season - which more than made up for those losses in the short term, but if they could have kept the team from '96 together, they might have been so much better.....

He actually blocked another Batum attempt late in the 4th quarter that people didn't really notice. Got it from behind.

John is sneaky with those blocks.
