Real damn shame. I met him a few years back at a camp I was covering for a story I wrote in high school and he couldn't have been a nicer guy.

My uncle, who is currently in remission from Lymphoma, is a huge Mets fan and really felt for him during his battle with brain cancer.

My thoughts and condolences are with his family. RIP Kid.
