Norris Cole Added to the Rookie/Soph Pool

And that guy in NY. Kenny the Jet (commisioner) just did it. Hope Cole gets picked. He deserves it. If Lin played at the beginning of the season, he may've been scouted like Cole was causing his level of play to drop.

Shaq picked him, saying (as he did at the beginning of the season) that he reminds him of his boy Damon Jones. OK, Shaq. Might help your basketball analysis if you...watched basketball. That's one of the worst PGs you can pick to compare Cole to.

Congrats to Cole I think its awesome Miami has this many players in All-Star weekend(6). But Shaq should be forced by the league to apologize for that Damon Jones comment.

I'm glad Cole is in but it shows what a joke all star weekend is. No matter how good Lin is playing it's still 7 games. But I'm no longer surprised by how scripted this thing has become. Just hope June is scripted in our favor this time...lol

Yeah Cole should send Lin/Stern a gift basket. Unless, he wanted to go back to Dayton for homecooking.

But yeah, the league tried to play it off as much as possible, but this is a joke. Just happy that the Linsanity got our boy in.

He is on and off, he has good games and bad games. He is lacking consistency but the kid isn't bad.

He's a sparkplug. You can tell he has more experience than the average rookie, but he still makes the rookie mistakes sometimes. ie. forcing it on the break without numbers, pull up jumpers without passing, trying to take over at inappropriate times. But that's part of what he gives you, and honestly this team needs a shot in the arm sometimes.

Cole World is gonna rock the Rising Stars game. I have a feeling he's gonna catch a lot of people by surprise. He's definitely gonna be able to showcase his speed with the lack of defense that will be on display. Good for him. PEACE.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this was a preseason prediction of mine.

I'm pretty proud of that.
