..I can get league statistics in splits by month or specific date ranges? For example, if I wanted to know league statistics for January 2012 alone, is there any website that can provide that?

Just search for a player, or click on his current team and then click his name. Over the stat boxes, there will be pull down menus for splits, game logs, shot breakdowns by location, etc.
