Completely forgot about that fight. Funny that they're both w/ the Knicks now.

This Jeremy Lin thing may be a blessing in disguise. Even if completely sucks from here on out they are gonna have to use their MLE on him next year. Lin is a cash cow and I'm pretty sure the fans would riot if Lin wasn't a Knick next year. All this means no Nash for them.

That's a very good point that you brought up, I didn't think of this. If it wasn't for the whole Linsanity thing, rumors of Nash heading to the Knicks would have been dominating the news. And Nash>>>>Lin.

I actually like J.R. Smith, for whatever reason. I think sometimes he gets a bad rap for not that much of a reason, and he's a very talented player.

That said...I don't think he's a big impact player at all. He's a guy that overrates his own scoring ability, and he really doesn't do much outside of score. Yep, the Knicks need more players like that, lol.

That's the problem. He's only a scorer and not the great type either. He's a ball stopper. Yes, he's exactly what they needed. A less effective version of Melo coming off the bench.

Sometimes :D

Obviously, he's been an idiot in the past, but I think at times, he gets singled out for stupid crap that may not even be his fault. For example, the crap that was going on in China, with his family members fighting people...he was being called a piece of trash, when I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do with it and the fans were actually throwing stuff at him while he was on the court.

IDK, I've just never found myself hating the guy, and I've always wanted him to do well.

BTW, funny story:

I used to post on ESPN, and one poster there was saying how we should trade Lopez and whoever for JR Smith, because he's going to be a HOF easily. This was in 2009. When told that he was an idiot, he posted youtube videos, and felt that he had proved his point.

Good old ESPN!

I posted there. About 10 times.

I think I really need to though, they allow cursing and **** right?

I can just go on there blasting cats right?

If so, good way to go nuts like I would like to on the GB on here sometimes.

No they censor out the profanity but you can get creative with it lol. I don't even think ESPN forums have moderators either because I use to really go after people back in the days on it and hardly any of my posts were removed.

Nah, from what I remember, they censor you...and you can't even type Gay, as in the name of the Memphis SF.

But what's funnier..."RealGM" is a banned phrase.

But they don't have forums anymore, I don't think. They changed it, it's like a chat room now. I don't like it, so I stopped posting. The majority of posters there are idiots anyway.

Wow, am I seeing this right? Does ESPN really have a "LIN" tab on their bottomline next to NBA/NFL/MLB/etc...

Please tell me I'm imagining this. I try to avoid ESPN as much as I can, but I think this is real.

I'm sad to say, but yes it is very real. I noticed it a couple of days ago. Gotta love how ESPN jumps on the hype train.

You guys complain now about it, just wait until we get Dwight.

We'll have a website like the Heat Index.

Lamar Odom is a zombie.

About a week ago was going to suggest he would be a great full MLE signing this offseason if we traded for Dwight and he's cut by Dallas or whoever has him, but he's just in such a fog I wonder if he ever gets out of it?

I wonder if he doesn't just retire this offseason if he's waived?

I think the only way he even goes back to what he was last year is if, and only if, he goes back to LA.

He thought his heart, not with his head, when he demanded a trade out of LA. He's just been sulking even more than usual ever since.
