I'm guessing latter part of the top 10, maybe 7-10, as of now.

Jae Crowder with multiple STFU threes in this half to shut down the crowd. Very similar role to what Lazar Hayward had at Marquette --might get himself drafted in the second and an NBA job like Lazar.

How many Ls can UConn spare and still make the tournament?

Agreed.

Don't forget the raw, non-shooting bigs whose defenders don't leave the paint.

With is wrong with pass first point with amazing defense and very good team player...Napier is Chris Duhon type of point guard and will be steal in the late 1rd or 2nd round.

I was commenting on him snubbing Wolf/Olander.

And I am not a fan of Napier at all. Doesn't run the team well, and is inefficien

Napier's Kemba impression sucks. He's playing the opposite of the way he did in the tourney, when he actually was a pass-first PG and running the team the way Kemba could not. If he played this way last year UCONN does nothing.

He is pass first point guard like Duhon who trying to play like Johny Flyn or Kemba this year...

If we end up with the #6 pick and Barnes, MKG and Davis are off the board (meaning we're in the Bigs sections of the draft - Sully, Robinson, PJ3 etc), I'd call Milwakee about a Jennings deal centered around TOR pick + assets for Jennings and MIL 2012. That's a solid haul because I'm much rather kill do this deal and leave with Jennings + Lamb/Beal/Miller than drafting one of the bigs in our original draft range.

Something to the tune of Bayless + Ed + TOR 2012 1st (PJ3/Sully/Robinson) for Jennings and a wing. I like that a lot.

1. Davis
2. Drummand/Harrison
3. Drummand.Harrison
4. Thomas Robinson( if he is 6'9 or taller)
5. Jeremy Lamb/ MKG /Sullinger

It's pretty earlier and there's a lot left to do like workouts, March Madness, measurements etc that all affect player's stock greatly but I think it's something like this:

1. Davis
2. Drummond/Barnes
3. Drummond/Barnes
4. Robinson/PJ3/MKG
5. Robinson/PJ3/MKG
6. Sullinger
7. Robinson/PJ3/MKG

So I think you'll see Beal, Lamb and Henson somewhere between #8-10.
T. Jones, Miller, Leonard and Ross between #11-14.

I think Lamb gets boned by UConn missing the tourney and Barnes, MKG, Beal outhyping him. I would say 7 or lower.

g The bubble is extremely weak right now which could save this team from the NIT -- the last teams I have in right now are Illinois, Washington, Xavier, VCU, NC St, Miss St.... none of those teams have overwhelming resumes.

Their RPI is strong (as flawed as that indicator is), but more importantly they do have a number of top 50 wins (5).

They are pretty much guaranteed to get into the tourney if they go 9-9 in the Big East with the rest of their resume. (that's not to say that other 9-9 teams in the BE would get in because that is not the case for teams like Cincy and USF who did really bad out of conference)

Its possible that 8-10 could even get them in if the bubble breaks right, and there is a limited amount of bracket busters.

They will be 6-8 in the Big East after today.
Remaining games are A-Providence, A-Villanova, H-Syracuse, H-Pitt.

9=9 is certainly possible, and they even have about a 30% chance of beating Syracuse to get to that number.

Those away games are key -- they are certainly better then those teams, but winning on the road is not easy.

Using UConn's projected year end profile at www.rpiforecast.com, I had them as an 8 seed as of this morning. But that profile was built on them having a 51% chance of winning today.

Yup I think so too. We need to take advantage.

Has Lamb missed an open shot today? Can these bums find their best player? Smh this team is a disgrace to Jim Calhoun's legacy... This is like watching a D-League team, everyone's out for number one.

The worst part of Lamb game is he jacks up too many three's and outside shots like today, I like to see him mixed up and drive to basket more.

HE COULD HAVE SCORED 30 + POINTS TODAY IF HE DROVE TO THE BASKET MORE. LAMB SHOULD USE HIS GREAT HANDLES AND DRIVE TO BASKET MORE...

I bet you could pick him up late in the 2nd round too, which obviously makes him low risk, decent reward. He won't measure out well, he probably won't be the most athletic guy either, but he'll be a player at the next level.
