UFC Undisputed 3 will mark the debut of PRIDE Mode, enabling players to fight for the first time in the renowned Japanese MMA organization. The mode will include official commentators Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros, authentic environments and notorious MMA rules, including the ability to execute soccer-style kicks, head stomps and ground knees to the head. Finishing an opponent will be more important than ever through devastating new moves, responsive striking controls, refined visual presentation and the introduction of a brand new submission system. In addition, players will now enter the Octagon with a choice between traditional and simplified gameplay control options, enabling them, regardless of skill level, to experience the intensity of UFC and nuances of MMA combat while executing simple standing strikes or more complex ground and transition mechanics.

Players will also experience the excitement of a live UFC event through significant visual improvements, including the introduction of much-anticipated fighter entrances, new camera positions, improved facial animations and a gritty, high contrast appearance. They will enter into battle with an unparalleled choice of more than 150 playable UFC fighters, including talent from the newly added featherweight and bantamweight divisions. Rounding out the virtual UFC experience with a significantly revamped online experience, as well as a variety of new and returning gameplay modes, UFC Undisputed 3 lets players have their fights – their way – to deliver the most intense, competitive and engaging experience to date for the franchise.

That looks awesome, I'm guessing there's no SF fighters in it though?

The online was so poorly implemented and supported in the last game I'm going to hold off for a while on this one.

I hope there is!

I mean there won't be anymore EA MMA so wouldn't it make sense?

I never play 2010 anymore, and barely played it when I first got it, so I was thinking I wouldn't even bother with the new one, but Pride mode, FWs and BWs might be enough new stuff for me.

There might not be enough time to include the SF roster.

I hate that there are like 4-5 guys you can never get if you didn't pre-order.

I want to get this game because of the Pride mode but I don't think I will. How can there be a Pride mode with no Fedor, Igor Volchanchyn, Josh Barnett, Sakuraba, or Minowaman?

Yeah, Pride mode is cool, but the roster is pretty light. Lightweight has like 4 fighters and one is Jens Pulver.

It would not be a huge deal if you could create the fighters with whatever moves/stats you want, but I don't think you can do that unless you take the fighter through a full career mode. Seems like their plan is to make people buy the CAF stat boost packs.

I got Overeem, but don't know how to get any of the other fighters. Anybody know how to get Nick Diaz?

I think I read if you didn't pre-order, you are out of luck on the Diaz front.

Ugh.

That's **** garbage.

And would screw over the international buyers like myself who don't have the option of a pre-order.

I'm guessing they will release him for $0.99 or something. I'd probably just pay it now, to be honest.

Did anyone get ufc 2010? I skipped that game, but I know there were fighters that were available with pre-order only (Roy Nelson???). Was he eventually released seperately?

Of the guys we do get, who do you guys find the most fun to play as? And what modes?

I haven't tried out too many guys, but I'm having fun as Anthony Pettis.

The title mode and tournaments are decent for offline play. May get sick of them eventually. Haven't gone online yet.

I find the career mode very tedious. I just want to make a god damn Shinya Aoki and start flying armbar guys. I don't want to spend 4 hours TKOing fat guys.

That's probably still my main gripe with the game. Still a bit too hard to get a submission, and I honestly don't think I've ever been to a decision in any of the 3 games (didn't play much of 2010, but played the **** out of 2009).
