Can't really blame him. He went for a shooter in Rautins, a big body in Jordan, and Fields...role players. Lin didn't seem good at any one thing at the time. Just decent at some parts of the game.

That's why I said poor man's... Being a defensive stopper is a pass/fail, so if you're a poor man's defensive stopper, you're NOT a defensive stopper.

The poor man's Battier is not really a defensive stopper, despite trying, he's not as smart a player on the court as Battier, and he doesn't shoot as good a percentage from 3 as Battier.

Being a poor man's role player is hardly a compliment - It means that you're not even actually a role player.

I'm worried about the 4th. Jeremy is gassed and we don't have anyone stepping up.

Trade Amare as soon as possible,he's a huge liability on defense and his offense is getting worse.
