I know it's one game, and it's his first game, but aside from his offense, which is streaky as advertised and inconsistent as expected for a guy playing his first NBA minutes for the season, I'm pretty happy with what I've seen from JR Smith.

He seems enthusiastic to be in NY, he has made some unselfish plays and has put in effort on defense. None of those things were what we were told we were getting. Obviously that could change in the future, but at least he's starting off on the right foot.

p.s. That lady in the crowd's face after Novak hit that three was PRICELESS.

He's already the best SG on the Knicks. Playing hard defense, and can shoot. I love him.
