DJRajX wrote:Also, Davis should never play... he hurts the offense, and he takes minutes away from Ryan

same goes for Duhon

Give Davis' minutes to Earl... and give Duhon's minutes to Ish

Move J-Rich to SF, and play Redick and Wafer at SG

F'N Christ SVG... COME ON!

And people say that Stan doesn't deserve any of the blame...yeah..ok...He doesn't deserve ALL of the blame but he does have a hand in it....Stan has control over quite a bit when it comes to this team...even down to how our players play....he calls all of the plays and regulates all of the minutes...Ryan is our SECOND BEST player....and he can't get one play call? he is never involved in the offense except of catch and shoot and offensive rebounds that's great but if Baby is getting play calls there is something wrong there....

Stan has to do something different....either that or he's insane

We need to get rid of Nelson and turk! These guys are gonna get exposed again in the play offs if this the team we gonna roll with. It sucks because I like jameer but he just flat out sucks now.

so he can ISO with his teammates standing around during garbage time?

I am kidding, I know what you mean. He may help at times, but he is never gonna see the floor until he plays within the system.

We sure did. I hated it when we were winning. I really hope we go back to our losing ways.

imo the "system" is flawed...have been for two seasons now....sometimes the "system" needs an update and it should of been updated 3 seasons ago...we're the same team that plays the same way....chuck and pray method first...feed Dwight second....I'll give anybody 100 bucks through paypal if they can tell me what changed for us offensively for the better through these past 3 seasons....Something that is designed by Stan not just players getting better

Well, that sucked.
Stan continues to go to that terrible duhon/Q/davis lineup and refuse to adjust.

I think Q should be a starter, he could be our matt barnes as the guy who defend the opposing teams' best scorer and energizes the first which have too many options to go to offensivly anyway, while our second unit clearly needs another guy who can create something other than jj redick.

I'll be happy the day I never have to see Turk or Nelson suit up in a Magic uni again.

Just got outplayed from top to bottom. I thought Hedo+Anderson looked really flat today. Dwight was meh again. Jameer was trying but lets face it, he is very inconsistent and just isn't good enough. I liked the energy and effort from Q and Baby tonight. I thought baby took some bad and rushed shots but played well on d and hustled, Q took some bad shots, did well on the rebounds. Wafer and Duhon came in and really killed our momentum. We went on that run then Wafer came in chucking, than Duhon started to chuck, then our offense was just one pass and chuck that beginning of the second quarter. Then we couldn't even get the offense set, just shot clock running down. Just a bad bad game.

This team is the top of the top of the pretenders..

hedo was terrible and played with no energy, dwight was bad, nelson looked awful, anderson is pretty much a catch and shoot player, hes not going to catch the ball, dribble, drive, and post up, the playmaking was bad which hurts ryan because he relies on them for shots

It aint the system. We literally don't have one player capable of running the PnR properly. Notice how crappy D'antoni's system looked when they had bums like Tony Douglas running it.

I'll chalk this to a team loss. No one on the roster, with the exception of Redick and Q played well today. The Heat played with great energy all day and we did not match it. It was to be expected seeing how bad we beat the Heat a few weeks back. I'm already over this loss and looking forward to seeing us bounce back and get a good win in Milwaukee.

Reporter: Stan we saw some stretches were you players were struggling to create open looks, why have you not considered inserting Von Wafer based on the fact he has shown that he can get to the hole off the dribble?

Stan: ............

Reporter: at times your offense can look predictable specially when the 3 pointers aren't falling , it would be a great time to go deeper into your bench and run some plays that would catch you opponent off guard, have you ever considered that?

Stan : No

i wish reporters had the balls to ask him these types of questions

@Rccanes2311 i would of bought that 3-4 seasons ago when it was still fresh but we've been the same team since then trying recapture the magic(no pun intended) of that finals team......i understand if you have inferior players then things are going to be tough but man.....As a coach i would think that you would have to evaluate your offense and team...take out what doesn't work and put in things that might......but what i see on the floor is different actors same show......we're lulled into a false sense of security when we finish the season with 50+ wins over 82 but when the playoffs come round and it's about execution we're a lot easier to defend when we've been playing the same way for 4 years...

Return to Orlando Magic
